Cute place. Loved the sweets. Mochi Anpan is a must try. Also the salted caramel truffles are so good.

Always a pleasant shopping experience. Foodstuffs and fruit are top class, fresh and presented in a wide range to make it easier for the consumer.
My girlfriend and I went to check out this place because we heard the coffee there is very good. The place was packed which was a good sign. One of the staff was kind enough and found us a place upstairs. He followed up by explaining the different coffee available that day..we tried 3 different ones and enjoyed the experience. Definitely going back as the service and coffee was good.
We have been patronising African Roots for many years, our favourite coffee shop, however service has gone down lately… slow service..
our experience this morning… when my husbands french toast arrived had no bacon which he ordered.. when it was served after it was soggy. i ordered a croissant arrived with no butter which i had to request. had coffee after arrived with no sugar had to get up and ask. Maybe short staffed?

This café came up in social media recommendations and I was surprised to not have heard of it although I've visited many other places in the vicinity of this cafe.

I was fortunate to have arrived close to their opening time of 10 AM else would have had to stand in a long queue (stretching outside the entrance) that took shape no longer than 10 min after I entered. The décor is an eclectic mix of artwork (for sale), merchandise and anime with prominent shades of pink (including Menu)

I tried the Chicken Tamagoyaki for food and settled for pour over coffee instead of the usual cappuccino. Chicken Tamagoyaki was scrumptious and something that I've never tasted before. Bill came out to be 100 with tip which I consider a steal for a CBD restaurant. I wanted to try out some sweet treats but because of their weird policy of ordering food at the till, dropped the idea as traversing a queue mid meal is not an exciting proposition.

When it comes to beverages/ice-creams, this place is famous for boboa, macha latte, macha soft serve and iced coffee as I could observe most peeps settling on one of the aforementioned options.

Service was quick, atmosphere was electric.

The only negative I felt was that even for dine-in, one has to order food (NOT beverages) at the till so if you forget or feel to have something else than what you ordered earlier, you have to stand at the back of a queue which in my opinion is not a consistent dine-in experience. I couldn't convey this feedback in person given the entire staff was overwhelmed with the high footfalls.

One quirky observation which I confirmed with the waitress was that the food is bought deconstructed from their kitchen in another location and assembled onsite, which is different from 99.99% restaurants where food comes straight from the kitchen.

Nevertheless I would recommend this value for money cafe to anyone visiting the area as the service and food reflects that the entire crew cares for their customers.

My Macon, avo and feta sandwich had no taste. The sandwich was dry. Avo was hard. Not what I expected. The service and atmosphere is good, no complains there.

I honestly enjoyed the food there and the vibe was just so chilled and cozy. It’s a perfect place to be on your laptop or just go for a short break. Service was superb, had everything explained to me without even asking. The cannot stop thinking about the cheesecake!

Coffee Couture welcomes you with open arms, offering a cozy escape for both locals and visitors alike.

Stepping in, you're greeted with a friendly atmosphere and top-notch service. The staff here are not only attentive but also super chill, making you feel right at ease from the get-go. I popped in for a quick bite, opting for their Latte with a chicken wrap and chips. The food was delicious, and the Latte was just what I needed to fuel up for the day ahead.

What's really cool is they're totally cool with you switching tables if you fancy a change of scenery. Talk about accommodating! Whether you're in need of a caffeine fix before heading into the hospital or simply looking for a laid-back spot to unwind, Coffee Couture has got you covered.

Next time you find yourself at Louis Leipoldt, make sure to swing by Coffee Couture for a dose of good vibes and great food. You won't regret it!

What a great place. Decor is whimsical and space is cool. The mochi are amazing. Had lemon drop, black sesame and Turkish delight.

Best is the exceptional service and attention from the staff. We were there on a scorching hot day. Without asking we were given iced water and paper fans to help cool off.
First time I went there today but definitely won't be my last. Besides the location being absolutely perfect, the food, service and staff are all on par. I have found my new favourite spot 🙌 (sorry no Pic of my meal, ate it up before I could take one 🤦🏻‍♀️)
Great breakfast or lunch spot. Owner is super friendly. Chilled vibe...definitely recommended for a relaxed breakfast.
The food is incredibly yummy. And everyone who works here works at the speed of light. My family ordered 3 coffees and 3 breakfast meals and we got all of the foods within 5-10 minutes
Cute little coffee cafe on Long Street. You can sit inside or on the pavement amidst the bustle of the passing people, cyclists and traffic.

Incredibly friendly staff, it was super welcoming. This might be my new fave dessert place is visit when I'm in Cape Town. Mochi was sooooo good, I think I could've eaten a million! The food was also delicious! Very flavourful and well thought out.
Good experience, the seating on the outside deck is so peaceful. Our breakfast was tasteful and received good service. We will definitely visit again.

It’s a super cute place, really great service and fantastic atmosphere. The desserts though, are just ok.

Having been to Japan and tried actual Japanese desserts, it’s ok. It’s too sweet and I think while Mochi Mochi do a good job of showcasing the varied nature of Japanese desserts, the taste is hit and miss.

The cheesecake is delicious, and so is the birthday cookie. Also the French toast! Everything else is ok.

I liked the idea of the coffee with jelly but it’s not great and there’s no sugar in the jelly which was a shock when all the other things were too sweet.

Such a quaint little spot hidden next to the tennis courts. The coffee is really good (4/5) and the chocolate croissants are unreal with proper Nutella inside! Just a laid back vibe with friendly staff.
I love that they have little treats (like zoo biscuits), a bowl of water for dog's and even doggie treats.
Best coffee on Tyrone Avenue and new favourite spot in the Parks.
It's amazing atmosphere. The staff is amazing. I'll definitely come back.
It's a perfect place for a first date. And To have meetings. Or to do some work or just reading a book.
Thank you for You're amazing service and kindness.

Feels like a bit of Tokyo, right here in ct. Clean well designed, Instagram friendly restaurant.
After eating a lot for lunch, all I could manage was the Japanese cheesecake and mochi with macha iced tea. Everything I tasted was just ideal, takes you back to japan in an instant. I will definitely go back here to try more of the menu.
Lovely space, the staff is kind and attentive, and the food was delicious! We got a smoothie and the veggie quiche and loved it. Highly recommend!
Manager is extremely rude does not know how to speak to customers. I had a free car wash on my loyalty program. Took my car in told the cashier, then the manager overheard, came took my loyalty card and was very upset that I had a free car wash due. Gave me an attitude and told me the last wash was not signed and I need to make sure it is signed so she can see who was on duty to deduct it from their salary. Why have a loyalty program if you going to get upset when the customer claims the free wash. Pathetic is the only word I have. Since I'm one of their most loyal customers. All staff know me so well as I use the car wash, petrol station and convenience store on a daily basis. They have now lost a customer.
I always have good food when visiting Ou Meul! The Burger was very delicious, although I'd rather prefer their sandwiches and pies! The steak pie is the best one! Do yourself a visit and go pop in!
We ordered 2 flat whites but got 2 cups of what was basically filter coffee. One was extremely bitter and one was very milky. The waitress was very friendly however and the place has a great atmosphere.

Louis Leipold Hospital.

Whenever I visit this hospital, I cannot resist stopping for their hot chocolate. They always have a nice array of cakes and it’s always lovely to just relax and enjoy your coffee or hot chocolate.

The last time I was here visiting my friend Suretha, there was a group of friends having a celebration and the atmosphere was ruined for me but this is more the exception than the rule. 👌
This must be the most pathetic and incompetent business i have ever experienced! Putting petrol in our diesel vehicle after telling the attendant its diesel! They have a reputation of making this error as its happened plenty times before according to them. We are now sitting 3 days without our vehicle as they refuse or just neglect to pay the bill for removing the fuel tank, draining it, cleaning it and replacing the diesel filter. They make the fault, agree to rectify THEIR mistake but completely neglect the minor bill that heads their way!
Lawyers will have to get involved for their own negligence. Honestly will never ever set my foot near this place again!
We order a cappuccino, flat white, an Americanized, 2 sandwiches and peanut butter toast. The coffee came out quick. It was great. We finished our coffee and waited for the food. It took almost an hour to get out food. It was slooooow. Good thing we did not need to be somewhere. The food was good once we got it.
Lovely breakfast at this very busy restaurant...there are quite a few choices to choose from catering for all types...the food was good but on the more pricey side...but it was quality...
Usually the service is great, but this most recent time it was quite poor, but it was probably a fluke.

The staff are always friendly and the food always arrives fast. My mom enjoyed hers a lot and my breakfast bagel sandwich was mostly good, but coming from someone who eats them in the US, where they were invented, the bagels can't be put a grill, they HAVE to be toasted. The bagel needs to be crispy.

Besides that, it was very good.

Lovely new location next to the tennis courts. Was initially disappointed to not find them in the usual spot thinking this another COVID closure but this is a massive improvement. Right across the road you can’t miss them. The perfect home for the perfect cup. There is cover should it rain and on a sunny Saturday morning in the winter the cold matters not. And of course the coffee is great. Dogs are welcome, there are two plug points, and believe there may even be Wifi.
Beautiful view with warm fireplace on cold winter days! Had the best caramel milkshake, and I will visit again to tryout the menu. Thank you, Gideon!

I love plants and keep a few plants at home. I decided to buy some from Woolworths as I saw some beautiful indoor plants. I brought 5 different ones. Unfortunately 2 or look like they are dying… I repotted them and been following the instructions with the plant food from Woolworths but the leaves are turning yellow and the one is almost too moist the others has a funny fungus on it which I had to treat before it effected the other plants
A beautiful space. Amazing coffee. The waiters were warm and extremely friendly and helpful. I loved it. Definitely will be returning for brunch.
It is a very nice place with a calming feeling. We visited a small girl and i could get a good coffee water juice and there is toys and books for the kids.
Our waitress was friendly and accommodating and the food, drinks and cakes were lovely overall. My son tried the Millionaire Shortbread Milkshake which he said was, “The best milkshake EVER”. He also had a slice of the chocolate cake but, it was too big and he took most of it home. I had their decaf flat white which really hit the spot as well as, a blueberry tartlet as they were out of scones. The tartlet wasn’t bad but, I would have preferred a scone. My husband was feeling a bit hungry so he tried the Grilled Moroccan Chicken & Barley Bowl which he enjoyed. He expressed that the chicken was well seasoned and flavourful but, that the salad needed more seasoning.

The fact that Ou Meul serves Bootlegger coffee is such a highlight and they also have a wide variety of tartlets, cakes and pies which makes it an ideal coffee and cake spot.

Cute and wonderful little cafe with good food and coffee. The owner and her team are wonderful here.
Absolutely love this space👌🏼! They definitely have THE BEST lattes--extremely creamy and just ridiculously delicious😊! And it does not stop there.. the food is also incredibly yummy! I've had their pasta, some of their sandwiches and recently tried the Moroccan chicken bowl😍. Just one small thing is their service--the service is great and the staff are friendly but on two occasions we've waited a teensy bit longer than we should have to place our order. But I will always go back for more😊👌🏼.

Wow ! Another good experience from woolworths food 🍲 fresh ,lovely and excellent service recieved from our waiter Brenda ...
Keep it up.
My girlfriend and I ended the year on a high with some great food at Baconville. As a pork lover I enjoyed my Pork Belly Bun with Choc chip and Mint Milkshake. The cherry on top was the great service from Ryan, what an awesome bloke.
During the holidays I visited Seattle Coffee Company and I was blown away by the quality of their drinks and food. I ordered a cappuccino and it was hands down the best I've ever had - the espresso was bold and perfectly balanced with the creamy milk foam. The iced coffee was also top-notch, with a smooth and refreshing flavor that wasn't too sweet. I also tried a mocha, which was sinfully delicious with the perfect amount of chocolate flavor. The cortado I had was equally impressive, with a strong shot of espresso paired perfectly with just a splash of milk.

In addition to their impressive drink selection, the muffins and sandwiches at Seattle Coffee Company were also excellent. The muffins were moist and flavorful, and the sandwiches were made with high-quality ingredients and expertly assembled.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with my experience at Seattle Coffee Company and will definitely be returning in the future. They've set the bar high for coffee shops in my book, and I have no doubt that others will feel the same way after visiting.
Definitely enjoyed the food that they had to offer. Plus, I would be remiss, if I didn't mention that the place is aptly named; the bacon added a great flair to each meal
Great service from the team. The Chai Latte wasn't the best that I've had and I drink a lot of it from various places. Clean space, different seating options, and lovely music playlist.
This morning on my way to dropping my little one off at school and going to work I realized that my petrol was horribly low and I had lost my bank card. With the bank not opening until 9am I was either going to be late or get stuck without petrol. Long story short I decided to go to the Total Garage at the Mall to see of there was anyway I could possibly EFT the garage for the petrol. I was greeted by a young man and I briefly explained my situation. His reply was, no problem I can eft him the money and he will pay for my petrol. Evile Njila, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for assisting me without even thinking twice about it. You are a true star 🌟
Went here for lunch, owners were very accommodating and friendly. The decaf cappuccino was delicious! Served in a nice sizeable mug. The food was very tasty, especially the pasta dish. (Was not on the menu). Good spot for people watching. Thanks!

I had a very disappointing experience at Woolworths Cafe yesterday, I ordered the new peppermint crisp waffle which was dry with half a teaspoon of peppermint crisp chocolate sprinkled on it. Not one waiter asked how my meal was, or checked on me, and I had to ask two different staff for the bill. I would not recommend this cafe at all.
Great cafe in Cape Town. The owner is wonderful. They have a delicious menu and lots of great sweets for any sweet tooth craving. If you’re visiting Cape Town it’s a great spot to check out.
Such a cute and wonderful little cafe with exceptional food and drinks. The owner and her team are wonderful here. Check out this great cafe when you’re visiting Cape Town and try out there iced Nutella beverage 😍
I had a wonderful experience at this family owned coffee shop/ restaurant. The food was excellent and the coffee was superb in a friendly homely atmosphere.. A real gem in busy Long Street.. well worth a visit

I was treated to breakfast and a sweet treat. What a nice setting and trendy setup. The place looked very inviting and charming. What a good selection of food - I ended up ordering the following :-

Half Breakfast which consisted of the following 1 egg, 2 rashers of bacon, tomato, toast and jam. Delicious – the plate was clean no need to wash 😊

The sweet treat order was a Bar One Banana & Ice Cream pancake. Pancakes were super soft, fluffy and melt in mouth pancakes. Truly delicious - Loved it.

Overall a decent pocket-friendly place serving a good range of tasty savoury and sweet treats with a decent menu for full eating. Will for sure visit them again!
We had a delicious lunch at Baconville today... tried a few new meals off their menu and we were actually surprised at how good they were. Even the gourmet Salted Caramel Milkshake topped with bacon was a hit.
Thankfully the owner greeted us as I was looking at the different restaurants at Willowbridge. So glad the food is wonderful, a bowl of bacon is literally a bowl of bacon. Huge cappuccinos and the service was attentive.

Family considerations: Didn’t look to see if there is a kids menu. There is a playground right in the square of restaurants that Baconville is located. Lots of foot traffic so be mindful.

I really appreciated the friendly and understanding service today. 🙏🏽🌻
One of the best kept secrets in Cape Town. Coffee beans (ground or whole) fill my espresso machine daily.
Compliments on an awesome chicken mayo sandwhich.
Super friendly staff with high quality hot beverages. There is inside and outside seating. They do not have snapscan or zapper. The venue is wheelchair friendly
Absolutely a pleasure to eat there. Menu is interesting, waiter professional and attentive. He recommended the pork belly burger - hands down one of the better burgers I've had, and without a doubt the best in Durbanville. Shoestring fries and bacon mayonnaise were both delicious. Highly recommend you giving them a try if your are inclined to some delicious pork.
They put petrol in my diesel car! Now what?! Car is still there and the owner is nowhere to be found...
Update - Maureen, I think she is the manager, was very helpful today and my car is back on the road. Lovely person!
No vegetarian options, not even a spinach and feta pie. Nothing. There's a coffee machine but you need R20 in coins to be able to use that. I buy us muffins and leave. My partner really wanted something savoury, so he goes back in and ask the lady by the food counter to please make us cheese and tomato sandwiches. She does but refuses to toast it for us because it's not on the menu. The sandwich was terrible one tiny slice of fake cheese.

Terrible food. Terrible service.

Hi

Absolute worst experience at the Car Wash Ever. If I could give a zero star I would. Also note, the staff is unwilling to share the real owner's number in order for me to talk about the issue. When I phoned the number they provided and I requested verification, the person could not do so. AWFUL!
