Great place to hang out on a friday afternoon , with great views at the back and affordable prices.

Really not bad to enjoy a drink, the thumping loud music can get to you though. It kinda kills the atmosphere.

Worst service ever, the cashier had to use a ladies room and no one replaced her, we waited for over 30 minutes for her to come back and service us. Her supervisors refused to step in.

This Tops is very well stocked, especially with interesting wines, craft & international beers as well as interesting gins. It's the sort of place I go to find something different or special. Service is good too.

I always find what I'm looking for there. This place is always clean and fresh. The atmosphere is vibrant. I remember during my first visits here I always had my headset on because I just wanted to get in and out quick because I didn't like being in there. That was before the purge.
Something changed in this place after the resurrection. It's like a new life begun. A good one. From the setting, the staff, the people, the atmosphere in general. It became more friendly. Swift. Moving. Easy going. I liked that a lot. And the prices, very competitive. Thank you.

Why do you have the security guards scribbling our receipts though? I still don't understand the reasoning behind this. Is it so that people don't come back and take the same stuff twice? But don't you have the time stamp on the receipts for that?
And please, this is not a mockery or anything like that. I love knowing things. And so I just want to know. Other shops don't do this. So why does spar do it, I don't understand.

Great place, great staff and good prices as well. Want to have a good time go chill there and listen to music while having your drinks.
As I am typing this, it is still not closing time for this Checkers Liquor (8 p.m.) after rushing after work to make it before the 8 p.m. cut off to but some alcohol for guests I managed to get there just 10 minutes BEFORE closing and was denied entry by staff. I understand, we all want to go home, but there is a closing time for a reason.
We live in Bayview, but my wife and I will drive all the way to these guys. They are just the best. Best customer service, and super friendly staff, who just make you feel at home. From the time you walk in, until you leave. They pay attention, and don't forget you. They help, always available and on hand. They have a huge range, and are always well stocked. They will let us know when they have new brands for us to try out. It's one one of our most pleasant shopping experiences, and we always look forward to stocking up with them atleast once a month, and the occasional ad-hoc situation.

Love the service of the store, it's always great to shop at a place where you find what you need as well as have a pleasant experience.
Finally had the opportunity to pop in at this Tops😀. Wanted to try out a few interesting IPA's and I was highly impressed with the variety!! Beer, wine gin, brandy, whiskey. If you can't find your favourite(or any interesting one you want to try out) here, you won't find it anywhere!🤷🏻♂️

Good location and well priced, but as with all Checkers locations, the staff attitudes are terrible and uncaring. Don't even bother ordering via services like Mr D Food, your order won't be accepted and you will wait days for a refund.

This store has a great selection and is obviously particularly known for their craft beer selection. The staff are friendly and helpful. They close a little earlier than other branches and I just wish they had a few more specials on the ciders from time to time.
