A good service especially in the morning, they help a lot

My husband and I went and bought a KIC fridge R7000 on Monday the 17th of July. When we got home we followed Game's instructions stating the fridge must stand one hour before plugging it in and then put it on. The fridge did not get cold what so ever! We called them on Tuesday telling them that this fridge is not getting cold. They stated that they will give us another one but only on Wednesday. Wednesday came and they informed us that no the guy that helped us is not there and he didn't arrange for our new fridge to be delivered. So on Thursday our fridge was delivered and we let it stand for more than an hour. When my husband unwrapped the fridge it was full of scratches and dents. So my husband called them telling them this is very unacceptable! We want our money back after back and forth we got our money back. I'm extremely upset with Game! Please understand we saved a long time to be able to afford a new fridge. My husband and I are newlyweds so buying this fridge was a big deal for us. So I will never recommend GAME to anyone!!!!

We went there last week but the service we receive was very poor, it was fr a contrac phone but ive choose to go to mtn and they help me with a smile and it was a good welcome. Last week Game call me just to say i must pay R3500 first to get the contrac

We bought a new dishwasher from Game. On delivery the first one was dented, the second one had a faulty hinge. We received the 3rd one brand new, no problems at all. Through all of this Reagan, kept us up to date, and went out of his way to get the new and correct one to us as speedily as possible. Thank you Reagan and thank you Game.

Loved it, a must see

If these cl*wns tell you they're gonna phone you back after you went all the way to their store to take the product that you bought THEM which is faulty and no one could assist you with it. You can forget about expecting a call from them. They take ur name and number then probably through it in the bin. Also their product knowledge is terrible, how can i br the only one in the store who knows what analog drift is? They told me over the phone that they are able to replace my ps5 controller as it is still under warranty, i went all the way there to find out the guy i was talking to clocked out. The stooges there couldn't assist me so they opted to take my number and made me believe they'll phone me back regarding my faulty item. It's been 2 weeks. Awful service honestly

Great corner shop to have, their fridges work so you will always get a cold soft drink. The have a card machine and do not have a minimum swipe amount which is cool.

I wish that I could find such a helpful and friendly sales person in every store. The salesperson at the washing machine department was extremely helpful and I received the most professional service. Thank you very much Game.

Great store for all my daily requirements. Meat and chicken at excellent prices. Rice, spices and a whole lot more available

We had to interrupt 3 staff members who was having a good time socializing on the sales floor. After seeking service we got treated with zero respect by a young man with no product knowledge. At the tills we had to wait again for staff to finish their conversations.
Finally we got home just to see the item we bought has clearly been used as a demonstration model.

Now we must drive back to that horrific store to return a used item!!!

Difficult to work on

Its a cramped tiny shop that has everything you need and a lot more. Friendly people to serve you as well. Its a family run corner shop that sell sweets, chips and cooldrinks .

If you're looking for a department store that's an adventure in itself, then Game in George is the place for you! Here are a few humorous observations I made during my recent visit:

It's like a jungle in there: With aisles packed with all sorts of goodies, it's easy to feel like you're wandering through a dense jungle. Just don't get lost in the aisles of appliances or you may never make it out!

Shopping with a soundtrack: Game seems to have a strange fascination with blasting oldies music at full volume, giving you the feeling like you're walking through a time machine rather than a department store. Maybe they just want to get everyone singing along and dancing in the aisles.

The hunt for the elusive staff member: It's a common game to try and find a staff member when you need help at Game, and if you do find one, it's like discovering a rare species. But don't worry, they are friendly and helpful when you do finally find them.

A place for all creatures great and small: Game is truly a one-stop-shop for everyone and everything. From electronics to groceries, they have it all. Even pets have their own dedicated section, which makes for some entertaining people-watching.

Overall, if you're up for an adventure and don't mind a bit of chaos, then Game in George is the department store for you. Just don't forget your map and compass, because you might need them to navigate your way through this retail jungle!
