P7 Gatineau Park

Excellent trail

The P7 trailhead leads to numerous different hike possibilities. It begins with a moderate incline and then then there are about two steep inclines in all path directions. Trail 1 where my photos were taken is a mostly easy hike along the fire road, with intermittent steep hills. It is an enjoyable hiking location that is shared with bikes btw. Cyclists are very considerate sharing and notifying hikers if their presence.
Things to see: bogs, swamps, ponds different treed areas, rock outcrops even an owls if you have a good eye etc.

One of my fave parts of the park so far. The Skyline trail is where it's at.

Top notch parking lot. You'll be very pleased you found it and used it. Very as advertised

The trail is very nice it has easy and hard trails, the elevator is high enough to raise your heart rate and easy ones for bike ride too

Nice trail. I go there to access the Skyline trail. Trail can get muddy so wear appropriate shoes. Didn’t seem as difficult as the website mentioned.

Really steep parts to these trails and they can get pretty muddy. Its a little like a chose your own adventure sometimes with huge mud puddles. There are a few nice lookouts but nothing crazy as there are a few trees that block a huge panoramic view.
