A beautiful tribute to Croatia’s most famous citizen.
This bronze statue, located in the heart of the city, depicts Nikola Tesla in a contemplative pose, holding a model of one of his inventions. The monument pays homage to Tesla's significant contributions to electricity and engineering.
A monumental bronze statue of inventor Nikola Tesla by Croatia's greatest sculptor, Ivan Meštrovic. Placed in a shadowy and somewhat crowded place, thus loosing much of its prominence.

A fantastic surprise! Learned a lot about the man that opened the door for most modern day inventions. Terrific museum set up and only 4 Euro entry fee. Ask about the guided tours. There was one at 11 and 1 when we were there but sadly we pressed on time and couldn't stay.
An evocative statue of a great inventor. I enjoy the modern style. Unassuming I’m so many ways. Until this and some additional research, i always believed Tesla was Serbian (Partially because the Belgrade airport is named after him) apparently he was born in Croatia.
The Nikola Tesla monument in Zagreb is very well done 👍🏻 and sculpted by Tesla’s friend Ivan Mestrovic. This is a good landmark, because behind this sculpture are beautiful winding streets and lively squares leading up to Upper Town.
