Many animals, rabbits, ducks, geese, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, sheep, goats, a donkey and a pony. The animals appear to be happy, healthy, and well-kept in large enclosures. Our toddlers absolutely loved this as a rest stop.
I absolutely adore The Big Apple's Petting Zoo. Whenever you stop here you got to go and see the animals! There are so many of them! Birds and the fluffy friends! You can feed them, you can pet them, or you can just watch them. You wont be disapointed, really helps to relax you on a long trip.
(I would have picked in the negative) This is not a Petting Zoo. It's a small area that you can view farm animals up close. Zero petting. 100% tourist trap. $5.00 for a tiny container of old fruit. Just wild.

The kids enjoyed feeding the animals and taking pictures on the benches. It is a must to stop here if you are heading East from the GTA especially with children. It is free you just pay $1 to feed the animals.
Always a great stop if you’re in Colbourne or simply stopping by to buy pie! The zoo itself is small but was interesting enough for us to spend about a half hour-45 minutes at. There were a variety of animals there with our favourites being the llama, the alpaca, the turkey and the goats. Such a cute & free spot!
Worth the place for a visit.. you can have lunch, do some petting and play golf and do some shopping to get some exceptional bread and many more things..
