This is a fantastic museum for anyone who (or whose kids) has an interest in world cultures. Full of impressive ethnographic artefacts and installations, plus the wing full of centuries-old instruments that have passed through Leipzig is also impressive.

Amazing museum with plenty of exhibitions, which vary in their complexity. From ceramics to musical instruments, and even both combined! That's a challenge for you: find a ceramic violin :)
Only could visit the part about musical instruments. Almost everything was exclusively in German. Had to translate most of it with my cell phone. I don't recommend it if you don't speak German. If you do, the exposition is quite interesting and many items are intriguing

Beautiful and interesting exhibits in this Museum. The architecture is nice and fits perfectly the space . Right now there is a great exhibition about analog photography. You have to go and have a look!
The museum of applied arts was very interesting and gave a great insight into the evolution of art being applied in daily life and how artists worked to shape solutions that can be used by all. Often you don't look at it as art but the perspectives here help you see things differently and appreciate them more.
