Beautiful museum. The ivory sculptures are mesmerizing, and need lots of time to enjoy. Worth it to spend the whole day. Family tickets are available at a discounted price (18€).
Die Ausstellung ist einen Besuch wert. Die oberste Etage ist auf Bilder von verschiedenen Epochen ausgerichtet bis hin zur aktuellen Zeit. In der erste Etage sind verschiedene Skulpturen ausgestellt. Der Lichthof ist sehr schön und verleiht den Ort eine offene Atmosphere.
The museum has some great exhibits on early automation. Very informative and helpful videos on ancient time keeping and astronomy.
A really fascinating place. Was blown away by how miniature the models were, with so much attention to detail and moving parts.
However, since we bought tickets there, it was a bit pricey and had to wait about 30 minutes to enter so it's recommended to book in advance.

Real Wonderland! You can easily spend a few hours there, because it's worthy to see a lot of amazing installations. There is also a place to rest, a place to eat and drink. Even if you are an adult, your inner child will be grateful for this entertainment 🙂 Highly recommend. But be prepared to meet a lot of people there.
It's a beautiful place. Very painstaking work. You can see all the little details. They took into account the smallest details and give the impression of living cities. It is possible to visit different countries, different cities and seasons in one go.
It's better to come with plenty of time to see everything in peace.

There are toilets, a place to wait, a place to quench your thirst, and of course a shop and a place to leave your things for storage.

Amazing place. So much detail, time and effort has gone in to creating all the models. The airport scene is incredible with the takeoffs and landings and the live departure/arrivals board.
Spent 3,5 hours in the museum and planning to go again. Super interesting, there are many cute and funny episodes.
At the evening there were very many people.

Very cute old vintage toys museum, if you like to see old vintage toys, or are you a collector vintage toys, you need to see this, friendly people and on the way out you could buy some merchandise, people with knee problem, need more attentions because they dont have lift to go up, i feel sorry for them, because these days people less interest with old vintage toys, so the museum never crowded, so no wonder the ticket little bit pricy, but if you want to support, you could just pay the ticket and you could buy some merchandise on the way to exit, and downstrair they have cafe, you can eat and drink there.

Well worth the money! I and my boyfriend spent more than 3 hours there and would have spent even more if the garden wasn't closing soon.
The garden was close to bus stops which was practical, it was nice to roam the garden even though it was raining, visiting the greenhouses was included in the price of a regular ticket (!), everything was well-maintained, there were free (and pretty clean) bathrooms in the garden and the greenhouses, the staff we talked to was nice, there wasn't too many people anywhere (although that could have been because of the rain) which was appreciated.
It'd be nice if there was more maps and directional signs scattered throughout the botanical garden as it is huge and a bit hard to navigate, and also if there were English names (not just Latin) and English informational signs next to the plants (there were some English signs in the greenhouses but not in the outside garden). Some parts of the garden and greenhouses were closed off, but since it's so vast there, there was so much other stuff to see.
Anyway, would love to come back again! So many parts we didn't get to see yet and I bet it'd be fun to come here again. :)

Nice collection of renowned German artists. Was great to encounter popular French impressionist work as well!
Truly amazing, I expected to spend an hour and a half in here and lost track of time, it ended up being about 4. The attention to detail is outstanding and all the little hidden jokes and details to look out for as well as buttons to press to set off scenes really makes it immersive. The airport is brilliant, you can't watch the planes come in and land and then taxi to their parking spot. On top of all of that it has day and night sequences as well.

It’s beautiful, it’s mesmerizing, you’d have to spend at least two full days there to discover most of the little details. I’ve been here at least 8 times, and I keep finding new things every single time. However, the place is always completely filled with people, no matter what day it is. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing your tickets online at least one week before, to have a chance at getting in at a normal time. Unless of course you want to stand in a queue for 5 hours, not gonna judge that.
Very interesting ship and it is being operated by a huge team of volunteers. Very impressive! Not to forget the possibility to stay some nights on thst ship which brings you free entrance to any part of the vessel.
It was a very pleasant surprise to discover how beatiful and interesting this place can be. Very well maintained and with a wide variety of plants from all over the world, you can easily spend at least 3-4 hours visiting the greenhouses and gardens.
Wahnsinnig spannende Ausstellung zu den Anfängen und dem Ende der politischen Polizei in bawü. Sehr sehr gut aufbereitet. Nehmt euch Zeit mit (wir hatten nur eine Stunde und das war etwas wenig). Kostenlos.
A small Castle in the green forest. you have a museum to see the life of medieval people and the castle history, you can climb easily the longest Tower to see a great view. visit duration around 1 hr. 1€/adult on sunday. easy to reach by Bus nr.25 and then a small walk. very educational and entertaining. next to it a resto-hotel to have a lunch after the visit.

One of my favourite places in Berlin and the perfect place to go and find a slice of paradise in what is already a fantastic city. If you are in Berlin and the sun is shining, you don’t want to miss this.

Botanischer Garten in Berlin is a beautiful place filled with lots of unique plants that will travel you to many different parts of the 🌎, all at once. It's like a quiet, peaceful paradise right in the city! If you love plants, you'll definitely enjoy it here. It's also a great spot to visit with friends and family for a relaxing time together. I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates nature and wants to have a lovely day out 🌼

Doesn’t fall into comparison with Borghese gallery with its sculptures, 1 hour here will be enough, but still we enjoyed it a lot.

Miniatur Wunderland is the largest model village / world / railway in the world, and it shows. The first time I visited here, I spent over six hours admiring this astonishing feat of human engineering.
The whole piece is set over many different areas, in two original warehouses on Hamburg's waterfront. Areas are representative of different countries or themes, and all are fantastic. One of the best is the airport, where planes take off, land, taxi, and park up at the terminal. And then the passenger stairs move into place!
Periodically, the lights in the building will dim, and you get to see the whole thing at night, with thousands of mini lights giving everything a sultry look.
There is an excellent restaurant, and a gift shop. Facilities are plentiful and easy to find. There are also secure lockers where you can easily store jackets and bags.

As a plantlover, this is a must visit place in Berlin. The Botanical Garden offers different great green areas to have a walk, greenhouses, and a museum to visit. For me, the highlight is definitely the greenhouses. There are lots of interesting plants inside waiting to be discovered. I really like the cactus area.
Unique experience. Sincerely didn't expect so much beauty at one place. It is the biggest collection of trees, plants and flowers so well taking care of. I spent 4-5 hours there and it was worth it.

It was an amazing experience for us to see a still operational old ship from inside till the engine room. Great fun for kids as well as the grown ups. It is fascinating to read the story of the ship and its restoration. Lots of pictures in the galleries telling about the glourious past of the ship.
It's not bad, since it still operates as a ship and hotel, there's a few places you can't go. That doesn't mean it's bad. The Propeller shaft for example is amazing. Overall it's okay and worth it. But I've been on better - Midway in San Diego.
Visited the Cathedral on a Saturday and it was crowded. This is the first Cathedral in Germany built in the 4th century and included in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. It was a wonderful choice to visit this place at Trier.

Ausstellung ist ganz ok, aber das Personal beobachtet und verfolgt einen die ganze Zeit. Das geht wirklich sehr auf die Nerven und stört. Würde das Personal wenigstens unauffällig beobachten ob jemand etwas anstellt. Aber nein, er steht die neben einen und schaut auffällig hin.

I went here for a rave in the middle of the night and danced until dawn! It was brilliant fun. Great space for it and they had a bar.
Very fun and educational museum. The engine of the ship is impressive, and well explained by the animation and text boards in the ship. It was fascinating to dive into what it takes for the ship to function. The exposition on ocean science was captivating as well. On board we also had a very nice view of the Elbphilarmonie.
Very good self-guided tour inside a classic freighter from 1961. The engine room is massive and you can see what it took to make a boat go 21 knots. There's even N active hotel in the boat so if you really want to get the almost fullest experience of living on a boat, you can! Oh, and of course, there's a small bistro with decent food and beer. Cash only at the bar. Cheers.

Nice to see the insides of a cargo ship. The layout could be better, and the signage is mostly exclusively in German.
Very nice white cargo ship docked in the Niederhafen. It was used on the routes between Germany and South America. It can be seen while walking along the Elbe promenade.

Stunning artworks in a stunning building
German expressionist paintings are superb, Otto Dix in particular. Great exhibition on the first floor with amazing portraits by Oskar Zwintscher.

It's beautiful in deed. There is a cafe, a museum and a burg or a tower where you can go up to watch the beautiful view of the surrounding area. You can learn more about historical events about the Castles.
Such a beautiful cathedral lined with intricate art and stained glass. I am very glad I got to see this and recommend anyone in Trier to come and take tour around. Free to visit but there are donation boxes.

Well worth it! Learn about the history of castles in medieval Bavaria (there are five thousand of them!) in about 30 minutes (museum isn't that big, but very interesting). Entry is €3,50 and includes access to the tower (kids are free). Stop by when you're in the area! 💯
Amazing collection. Loved the experimental colour project. Helped to visualise how some of our ancestors may have looked. Too much Christianity or Christian iconography. Even if we went this is Germany centric, what about Jews? Or the Pagan.....

Nice collection of art, especially the ivory one. Would recommend if you are really passionate or if you get the Museums Ufer ticket which basically includes almost all the museums in Frankfurt.
Heute habe ich mir die Ausstellung im Museum Hotel Silber angesehen. Eintritt kostenlos. Leider fand im Erdgeschoss eine Veranstaltung statt, so dass nur die erste Etage geöffnet war. Die Ausstellung ist insgesamt sehr interessant gestaltet. Ich hatte kein Audio Gerät und konnte die Ausstellung heute komplett alleine genießen. Aktuell werden die Kontaktdaten aufgrund Corona aufgenommen. Ich hätte gerne noch weitere Informationen und Bilder zum ehemaligen Hotel gesehen. Die Ausstellung über die Polizeizeit war interessant und mit einigen aktiven Parts ausgestaltet. Bei den Karteikarten hätte ich mir etwas mehr Erklärungen gewünscht. Die meiste Zeit habe ich verbracht, die Kritzeleien auf der alten Türe zu lesen. Ebenso die Briefe in altdeutscher / Sütterlin Schrift sind interessante Zeugnisse dieser Zeit. Leider werden viele diese nicht mehr lesen können, aber vielleicht kann hier noch eine "Übersetzung" in Druckbuchstaben ergänzt werden. Insgesamt eine bewegende Ausstellung, die man mal besucht haben sollte.

Little gem in Trier. Fun for kids, and even for the parents and grandparents. Small, but so is the entree fee (could only pay by cash by the way). Had to take two staircases from the entrance, but there is a lift, you only have to take it from the restaurant. So that is confusing.
Some toys really have history, because they know from who it belonged to, or they place it in context of time reference. So that is nice.
They put chairs every few meters to sit. With some toys children can play. Some toys on display are even obscure or out of place, but the more interesting they are. Worth a visit.

The Albertinum building where the gallery is located is impressive. The huge hall is spectacular. The gallery has a couple of interesting paintings but the old master’s gallery is much better. There are also interesting sculptures in the other halls.

Wonderful place to spend a day watching animals, excellent children’s playground and restaurants!
The sheer number of exhibits (more than 5000!) is just mind boggling. There were quite a few working models as well, including a Carousel, some train etc that totally captured my gal's attention. There were dolls that were as old as 50-70 years till recent past. There were some that were extensive with their own stroller/crib etc. There were some which were even life sized.
Excellent Museum with a great view from the tower.. unexpected gem...
This quirky toy museum is so much fun to visit, it’s a great way to travel back through a hundred odd years of toys.
The staff are lovely, the layout given the quirky structure nice and easy to navigate. The place that sits up on a third and possibly forth floor even has a lift to make viewing easy for buggies and the disabled.
I won’t tell you all the wonders we saw, just look through the photos and videos I’ve shared, this is a microscopic amount of what you’ll see in this small but well ordered museum.

A nice museum and a great exhibition! If you are interested in old sculptures, you should come for a visit. Right know they have a exhibition about Medea and the hunt of the golden fleece. Pretty interesting to go threw the historical facts and story's.

This is a gem of a castle. So tranquil away from the busy city. Take the S7 from the city centre. It’s quite small but has bags of charm. The surrounding area is lovely too. Make sure you leave time for a walk in the woods and the river below. The river is so clear with trout . The castle is about 15 mins from Hollriegelskreuth from the S7 . It’s not very well signposted hence 4 stars. But google maps sorts that.

Interessant auch für ab Grunschul- Kinder. Zumindest bis auf das OP Werkzeug. Spannende Vergleiche zu den Menschen. Vögel, Käfer, Säugetiere... Missbildungen bei Tieren und Menschen... Teils etwas erschreckend, aber lehrreich. Gerade bei Missbildungen, dass die Kinder das auch Mal sehen. Fand es gut dann nocheinmal darüber zu sprechen, dass man mit Menschen die eine Behinderung haben menschlich umgehen muss! Da wir alle gleichviel Wert haben. Leider selbst Heute noch keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Teils lachen Kinder wohl noch los, wenn sie Menschen mit Behinderung sehen :( mir ist es wichtig, dass mein Kind so etwas nicht macht.
Interesting collection of specimens. There are some very educational skeletons of various animals including some pathologies. For the more adventurous, there is also a two-headed lamb, a fossilized fetus and some amusingly questionable taxidermy
Das Zoologische Museum zeigt mit Präparaten von exotischen und heimischen Tieren einen Teil seiner beeindruckenden Schätze. Auf der Ausstellungsfläche und den Räumen werden riesige Skelette, sowie Vögel, Insekten und vieles mehr präsentiert. Der Eintritt ist frei, eine kleine Spende von 1€ wird aber gerne gesehen und sollte für diese schöne Ausstellung jedem wert sein.
Hidden gem of a castle museum near Munich. Easy to reach with Tram 25 from Rosenheimer Platz (400 meters or so from tram station). It is cheap (1 euro for seniors and kids), nice interactive displays (all in German), and an excellent view from the tower over the river Isar. Since it is unknown--never crowded.
The view from the tower is nice. All the information in the museum is in German only, but it seems fairly extensive. You can see things like the family tree of the family that lived there, what life was like in and around the castle in olden times and a display of weapons, farm implements and the like. The museum is well kept and it is clear that a lot of effort went into it.
Pictures aren't allowed but staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful museum.
