Great little place to visit if you are in the area . I believe it is only unlocked on weekends to go inside but that is OK. Love knowing history of places .
Interesting
Historical log cabin built in the 1800’s. So neat to see a bit of the town’s history preserved. Too bad we couldn’t go in to have a closer look. Not sure if there are times during the year where they are open for viewing. We were only able to peer into the windows and read the history plaque outside the cabin. It would be neat to be able to go inside and perhaps have someone tell us more about the cabin.
It’s located right beside the small jail so you can see two historical sites in one shot. If you like history, it’s worth it to stop by.

Cute log cabin off the beaten path in Creemore. The cabin was locked up so we couldn’t go inside. I have a picture taken through the window. I don’t know if they have hours where they open the cabin up to the public. It would be good if they could do that!
It's not open. The site was covered by snow.
Interesting and beautifully preserved log cabin near downtown Creemore. Historical sign out front detailing the history of the cabin. I'm not sure if you can go inside, but take a look in the windows to see the interior. Right beside the small jail with free parking available. Great spot for a photo opportunity in Creemore.
Such a cute place. You can go in and sit in a jail.
