This is a must see museum if you are in the Cincinnati area. They do a fantastic job of telling you the story of how firefighting has changed throughout time.

A great museum. It is both incredibly informative and fun. Our kids (2 and 4) loved the activities and the historical elements.

Easy to find, on street parking nearby with parking meters was plentiful.

Building is converted fire station, fire pole and opportunity to slide down as often as you wish also included

Went with some family and toddlers, lots of interesting things to read up on. The fire engine exhibit where you can sit and press various buttons and lights was semi-functional, semi-broken and otherwise a downstairs exhibit was closed for 'remodeling' which is what it is.

Definitely a fun place and easier to stay longer with older interested kids, or 2-3 hours tops with younger toddlers

Much more extensive and interesting than I thought it might be! I'm not one who usually reads all of the details at a museum but all the info here was very interesting.

Great day trip! We spent the afternoon learning the history of the firefighters I'm our area. The bonus for me was a play area for my granddaughter. I wasn't sure what to expect for her young age,as far as interest but she played and was entertained. I have visited before with older grandchildren and can comfortably say there's something here for all ages. They even have full sized 🚒 in the building to be explored. The only other sidenote I would add is that there wasnt many references to African American firefighters. I personally know a few myself, overall still a great day trip!!

Worth visiting! It's beautiful, fun, interesting, and kids friendly. They even offer birthday party rental packages.

Very quiet. My family were the only ones there, which isn’t a bad thing.
Many interesting exhibits for kids to look at. Keep their learning fresh. This is a great museum if you haven’t visited yet.
2 adults and 1 kid. $16
