This is one of best restaurants in Cincinnati. The food is always great and it's a beautiful restaurant. You may have a wait to eat here but when you're seated the service is very good. I like everything I've eaten.

I went to The Eagle OTR by a recommendation of a friend. Great Southern comfort food and exactly what I’d been craving! We ordered fried chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens, and spoonbread (skillet cornbread). The chicken was delicious and well seasoned and came with a spicy honey for drizzling. The cornbread was excellent as well. The Mac & cheese was good, but the sauce had a smokiness that I personally didn’t care for. The collard greens were good too, but a bit on the vinegary side.

The sandwiches were delicious and the sides were also good. The french fries were some of the best I've had and the dipping sauces were super good. I really enjoyed my grits and the sandwiches were tasty. I will say as far as value that it was a little expensive since the sandwiches are sold à la carte and come with nothing.

Stellar to say the absolute least.

We came from another restaurant that had less than desirable service, my girlfriend and I were kinda bummed as we were hoping to have a nice night out and it started kinda meh. We went to the The Eagle we saw the place was packed and expected to have to wait for a significant time for a table. When we walked in we were greeted by the hostesses and ask how our night was going. We gave a quick summary of what had happened at the other restaurant, they apologized and said hopefully we can make it better. Sadly they had no tables, but there were two perfect seats at the bar for us.

We were seated immediately and the bar tender came over within the first minute. He informed us that the restaurant choose to cover a free app due to the quality of care at another restaurant… insane.

From there we just went a little crazy with ordering being blown away by the staff and their customer service.

The drinks were on point. The food was stellar. The customer service? Absolutely outstanding. Ian was a fantastic bartender/server, their whole crew was on top of it from the moment we walked in. Will definitely be back. Oh and one last thing. The Mac and cheese is to die for.

The best chicken restaurant in the world!!! Make sure to get the hush puppies also! Fries, Mac... you name it! Never had a single bad thing off the menu. this place does not disappoint. Me and my buddies love going down! Bartender loves to chop it up with my buddy "tomahawk" always a pleasure attending this restaurant.

We made reservations and were seated promptly upon arrival. Food was all fantastic! Loved all the sides we tried along with the chicken. Our favorite was the fries with the aioli! So good! Our server was friendly but was not around very often and it didn't seem busy. I will be back because of the high quality food.

First off, let me say that the atmosphere of this cute little place was exceptional, as was the service!! We ate out front on the patio, which was lovely! Our super sweet server, named Peyton, was excellent! Very friendly, informative and always checking in with us periodically to see if we needed anything. We tried several dishes while dining here. We had the whole chicken(which consisted of 8 pieces: 2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 drumsticks and 2 thighs), spoon bread with maple butter, fries with aioli, and the biscuits with blackberry jam and honey butter. Let’s start with the chicken, it was juicy and tasted good. I wouldn’t say it was extraordinary, I’ve had way better, but it was good. The spicy honey that was served alongside was pretty tasty though! The spoon bread was good. Of all the recipes I’ve seen for spoon bread though, it’s more of a soufflé type texture. This was more typical cornbread texture, but the kicker was that it had celery in it…who does that??? Kinda ruined it for me after finding that in my next bite! The maple butter was delicious though!! The fries with their seasoning were delicious. Didn’t much care for the aioli…it was much too strong tasting. The winning dish of the whole dinner was the biscuits and the blackberry jam!!!! Those were fabulous!! Could’ve done without the honey butter, it was not very good, and neither was their regular butter. Not sure what they were using, but they might want to change that. My hubs had two local craft beers that he liked; the 50 West, and the Sonder You Betcha! Definitely try this place out, especially if you love fried chicken! Very cool place!!
