I shouldn't be buying bread. I'm travelling by bus tomorrow the 28th of November 2023 from Adelaide to Geelong. I shouldn't be buying bread. I only have a backpack with zero extra space. I shouldn't be buying bread. I'm staying at The Metropolitan across the road from the Federal Hall aka the Adelaide Markets. I shouldn't be buying bread. I'm headed out to a concert at The Hindley tonight and I need room in my belly for a beer or three. I shouldn't be buying bread. I'm buying bread. You would too. That ciabatta pugliese cannot not be bought. I bought one. It's in my backpack; I made room. I also bought four types of flavoured/filled croissants. I nearly bought four donuts.

We had great service. We were there when the store opened. I won’t buy the day old stuff again but the fresh products were great!

The food is fantastic, but as other reviewers have said, the line management is terrible. The past three times I have been to this stall I have been ignored as they serve people who arrived after me. Maybe a ticketing system would be a good edition.

Worse customer service. Don't be fooled by the hoards of people standing around at lunch time. They staff here have no concept of line management, and there is no ticketing system.

Basically crowd around and push your way to the front. I thought this was just my experience but going from the other reviews everyone's feelint the same.

Went there first thing on. Friday morning (market day) to get some fresh bread... Instead of getting the fresh bread that made that morning, I was given 2 day old bread. I Didn't realise until I got home and looked at he best before date tag

Very disappointed experience in the market this afternoon. I had been in the line with 3 people (a lady and a couple) in front of me when I joined the queue. The lady who’s serving skipped me and talked to the person behind me. She insisted I didn’t queue up and despite me explaining.. ended up not buying anything as I was very frustrated with the attitude of the staff.

Was super eager to try the honey log, they had small and large. Made my decision, got my cash out, and waited...and waited and waited to be served.

Finally had a staff member approach where u was standing... and.... walked right past me. Wouldn't make eye contact and kept walking to play with something on their hand...

I walked off because if you won't take my money, how can I try and rate your products.

Very disappointed since I made the trip to Central markets specifically for skala as I've had great items in the past.
