Fisher Fountain

Its a fountain. The water went up in the air. It had water in it that sprayed around because its a fountain. What the hell am I supposed to say? Why can I rate this? Is someone at WWU going to read this and pat themselves on the back because their fountain was fountaining water up in the air like it is supposed to? This is the most ridiculous thing ever.

Elegant and academic atmosphere. Nice plaza for a quick break.

This fountain is a pretty standard fountain, but it has some cool technology in it. I believe the system is hooked up to a series of windmills that gauge the wind speed and adjust the height of the fountain accordingly. I've also seen many people jump into that fountain in the depths of night, freezing up and then running back to their dorms... It's a nice place to sit when the weather is nice, and it drops a nice relaxing mist when you lay there and it's breezy

I heard Engineering installed a weather vane that lowers and raises the height of the water depending on how strong the wind is so that when the wind is strong, the water doesn't blow far from the fountain. I thought that was really cool!

Pretty nice, misting could be quicker. Water is kind of clean

It's a pretty brick courtyard surrounded by old brick buildings with a large pool/fountain (empty and off at the moment). I'd love to visit it again in summer!

Fantastic fountain, I gave it 4 stars because it was lacking a certain Undie-Run atmosphere. Otherwise tremendous, and rather huuge.
