Excellent meal. Huge portions, could easily share. Unlike many restaurants bread, olives, dessert and coffee are included. Very friendly owners/staff.

Amazing food and very friendly staff. We got skewed salmon and grilled sea bass, and everything was very fresh and delicious, especially salmon. Also, desserts are very good. Vielen Dank!

Good food, kind service, reasonable prices

While I was visiting Sintra someone that worked on the place where we were staying for the night, upon us asking for some restaurants to eat dinner she recommended this one claiming to be cheap and really good. As you can see from the photos all of us ordered different things because then we could taste a little of everything and let me tell you that the food was amazing, everything was so good from the appetisers to the desserts, plus the waitresswas very kind and in case we weren't full with all the food she said we could repeat something without paying more. I definetly recommend this restaurant to everyone passing by, it's a must go to actually! 👌

So impressed with this place! We ate there last weekend and were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming member of staff who continued to smile and treat us well throughout our meal. The food was original and delicious, Portuguese style but with some creativity on the part of the chef. Loved the chocolate orange cake too! The price is very reasonable as you get everything included if you have the daily menu. Thank you!

Retiro do saloio is a great restaurant with friendly staff. They a wireless range of dishes available to choose from. Prices range from €9.50 euros. They serve both fish and meat dishes. They have free WiFi available and wheel chair access is good. If your in the area make sure to pop by and try their dishes which are very tasty.
