If you are a meat lover, you will not regret visiting Argentina Restaurant in Marathonas. This family-run place serves delicious and authentic Argentinean food, with a variety of steaks, ribs, sausages, and more. I'll start with the negatives since there's very few.
The chairs were very hard, and it took a while for the meat to arrive.
Everything else about the place was great, was a little worried when we were the only people in the place, but after a little while people started to come in. The starters were fantastic. Especially the fried zucchini and fried feta.
When the meat did arrive it tasted really good, but by then we had eaten us quite full in the lovely starters so beware of that. Overall a lovely time and a place that's worth a visit.

As a chef and restaurant owner I totally recommend this restaurant, as it was the best one on our trip 110%. Service food atmosphere in this family run business knocked it out of the park.

If you're a meat lover this is the place to visit...been around for many years and has survived all the ups and downs of our time.
Little out of Athens, but a fairly pleasant drive.
While your meat is cooking you can take a quick visit to the Marathon Dam.

I give them 1000000/10 why?
Maybe because i love meat and they have the best in athens. Or maybe the staff is amazing the atmosphere and everything was amazing. For me like this restaurant i prefer to change the seating chairs because you are going from athens to marathonas to have a nice dinner or lunch but you need to rest from a 1 hour driving on chairs must be comfortable otherwise its my favourite place. And highly highly recommended

Vegetarians and a carnivores tried this resturant. We had the queso empanada, beet salad, mashed potatoes, boneless steak. Everyone left extremely satisfied, all plates were empty. Owner is lovely and the place is outside of Athens so it’s quite with not a lot of tourists.

Nice tavern in a beautiful area. Has it's own parking. Worth waiting an hour/ hour and a half for your steak. Everything we tried was really tasty. Excellent fried eggplant and zucchini which stayed crispy for over an hour. Fried potato chips ought to be eaten quickly though. Friendly staff, asking if you're vaccinated, wearing masks, bringing your bill where everything is shown properly. An overall really pleasant Sunday afternoon, enjoying good food at a better than average family tavern. Go taste the steak!!!!!
