Really nice food and equally beautiful prices! I like how big their portions are. And the mussels are really the best I’ve had in Crete because they’re big, juicy and tasty. After the meal they serve both desserts and fruits!
Enchanting, elegant place in a calm area of the city centre, surrounded by many green plants.

The food was typical and delicious! We took 5 starters to share for 3 and it was really nice to taste some typical Greek dishes. The waiters were nice and offered us a dessert with raki. If you come to Heraklion, I would highly recommend this place!
As shown in the photos we had two typical greek appetizers, two main dishes and at the end we were offered some fruit, a dessert and a local alcoholic drink called ouzo. Overall the lunch was good, we really appreciated the appetizer which were particularly tasty. We found the main dishes ( two different preparation of chicken) a bit delusional, the baking was perfect, but the taste wasn't really what we expected, I'd say a bit weak. The dessert was perfect. The prices are absolutely affordable, for all the things we had we spent just 44 euros.

The staff was very friendly and polite.

This is one of the most lovely taverna we visited during our 5 weeks in Crete. And definitely best taverna in Heraklion we visited! Food was just amazing, portions are huge and everything is very delicious. Prices are very very reasonable. And service is very good. We would recommend and would love to back there to try more :)
During our trip to Crete we have been 2x to Xalali and we really like it. The food was tasty. We had the grill platter, Greek salad, seafood and much more. All of the dishes were delicious and portions were great. The tzatziki was super nice. The best one we had during our trip. Service was very friendly and fast. Prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone.
