Bought train tickets today, as my card won’t go through online so I had to get myself all the way here to buy the discounted ticket for the dates I wanted. The guy at the Customer service laughed at me as I told him the date (couple months from now) he said it’s too early to buy those tickets, and even told his colleague that “she’s buying tickets for those dates and it’s too early”. first of all I found a great deal and for sure those prices will go up if I wait more and why does it matter he’s not the one paying for those tickets. Secondly the company won’t release the prices if it’s too early, (in my line of work we start planning the dates of our vacation as early as march-april for the summer) First time it happened to me, to be laughed at by buying a ticket. I have always used trenitalia and they’ve always been so kind. I guess I encountered an ignorant guy who doesn’t know what customer service means
