I love this station. Very cool place. Many movie scenes have been filmed here. The station in East to get to from the subway. If you ever get a chance to visit do so.
This historic train station is located on 42nd street between Lexington and Madison. This is one of the busiest stations in the world, and there is some great people watching.
Beautiful architecture inside, it is truly a sight to see even if you're not traveling by train. The ceiling in the main concourse is spectacular and other not to miss highlights, would be the clock over the ticket booth, the grand central market and the whispering hall. The whispering hall features a beautiful tiled ceiling and if you go with a friend you can stand in opposite corners, talk into the wall and actually hear each other. Lots of great shops and restaurants inside. This should not be missed.
