Fun and cute train ride. Long enough to see lots of nice scenery from the parks. Also nice that it has a few stops if you need to hop off early.

Facility has a new locomotive running the tracks. Really enjoyed the Christmas themed displays on the carts as well.

We always enjoy taking on the train whenever visiting the zoo or the park itself. For a park train the ride is longer than most. The equipment is in a good state of repair.

Now on our way home. My husband and I are both seniors and he thought it would be fun to go to the San Antonio Zoo on veteran's day. We got to the garage and between poor signage and non ADA compliance we decided it was just too much to undertake. Thanks anyway Barbara A Robinson BSN, RN, MSN

My service animal was denied from riding the train. After they requested to see proof of documentation. I presented my dog's certificates and they still denied him entry.

It's a cute little train ride and fun experience to see the park. It makes stops at the Witte museum, the Doseum, and the tea gardens before circling back to the zoo station. 4 stars because its rather loud, both the speakers and the track. it can be a bit much for sound sensitive kids, especially during the tunnel when the riders are encouraged to make more noise. Overall, was a fun experience, but just be wary for sound sensitive or easily over stimulated kids.

Fun and a relaxing way to end the day at the Zoo, but the train is extremely bumpy and doesn’t go in the Zoo at all. There’s absolutely no view inside the Zoo either. It could be called the sidewalk train or the field train and that would be fine….the name is very misleading.
