Casa Sushi

It was my first time going to the Casa Sushi, my overall experience was good. The food was good, I generally order the bento box chicken teriyaki and comparing that with other places is more expensive. It was good though. Our server was nice too.

There customer service is terrible. I ordered the food they said It will take 15-20 minutes. I came after 30 minutes and it wasn’t ready. Okay I understand it’s busy but you have to make conversation. You have to say it will take approximate time. They be like it’s ready I’m packing, it’s ready I’m packing, actually it took half an hr more.

The sushi rice is spot on. You can really taste the vinegar and not many places know how to season their sushi rice. The service could be improved. Not sure why our dishes didn't come out together, and it was a long gap between our food when there was no one else in the restaurant but us. No delivery either. Server didn't seem too happy to be there which is uncomfortable for a customer. Felt so guilty being there.

Used to dine here years ago - I remember the snow white roll! Got delivery via Uber - the pricing is decent but I felt the quality was lacking. The sushi rice needed more rice vinegar and sugar.

Great vegan sushi! The owner pays great attention to detail to ensure cross contamination is at an absolute minimum, they guarantee that they clean all surfaces prior to making vegan orders or with other dietary restrictions. I definitely recommend trying them. This location is recently under new management and they have lots of high quality experience in the sushi industry and have a good understanding of what Vegan means and entails! 😎🍃

Today I tried the inari pockets stuffed with sushi rice, avocado 🥑 cucumber 🥒 cut rolls and marinated shitake mushroom....

I don’t like writing bad reviews, but I’ve ordered takeout here multiple times and have always had a negative experience.
A few years back we started trying this place. Twice I ordered rolls from them for takeout and both times the rolls were dry and stale tasting, as if they were made a day or two before. Whatever, just stopped ordering from them.
Since then, my partner has always had success with their sashimi platters and they’re a good price, so I decided to try again yesterday. The tuna on my rainbow roll was brown and smelly. I couldn’t believe they sent us home with that. The tuna in my partner’s sashimi was also not fresh, as you can see in the pics. We call, and they offer to replace the tuna sashimi with salmon and make another rainbow roll without it. We go back, get the replacements, come home. This takeout has now taken an hour out of our day. Now the whitefish on the roll is smelly and bad… They replaced bad tuna with bad whitefish after all that… So frustrating. Never ordering here again. Do not recommend.

It's not as good as I hoped it would be but maybe it was simply the timing we went at. Maybe since we went near closing time, the sushi didn't feel as fresh. I would have thought that the Casa Roll (given the fact it's named after the place) would have been stellar but the Snow White Roll is definitely their best dish. Good service, average prices. I liked it but it's just that I have had better sushi for the same price elsewhere so that's why the three stars.
