Restaurant Pizzeria La Perla

I had dinner in a group of 10. The person who served us was so friendly and kind in accommodating the big table outside. He patiently took our order one by one and still made joke here and there 😁. I ordered lasagna and it was DELICIOUS! A good amount of beef and cheese, a thick and flavorful sauce. It was made fresh. I enjoyed devouring it! I ate it with a glass of light beer. The overall price was reasonable for Switzerland 😊.

I ordered Canneloni con carne. Canneloni’s itself was okay but the filling didn’t taste like beef at all.

I’ve been here a couple times before, and the experience is usually a solid 3 stars given food quality, service, and value food money. However, I came in on a Thursday evening to get 1 takeout pizza (which still cost 27 CHF btw). It took them a full 30minutes to make one pizza, which normally is OK for me. But what bothered me was the fact that 6 other white Europeans came in after me, ordered after me, but all got their pizzas before me 🤔. They only got to my pizza when I was literally the last person waiting!!! Given the plethora of equally good, if not better, restaurants available in the area - would not recommend.

I wish we had more time in Geneva to go back to this place, it was that good. We shared pasta and a frutti de mare pizza and both were delicious. Ended the meal with some amazing gelato. The service was great!

We arrived 5 minutes before closing.
With a big smile they allow us enter and serve us 2 amazing pizzas.

This restaurant was a block from our hotel and it was rated well. We made a dinner reservation on-line since we were going on the weekend. We enjoyed our food and service. We noticed that they are very busy with people picking up pizzas to go so we are assuming that their pizzas are delicious.

Had a salad and glute free penne with seafood. Huge portion. Good flavour but seafood too small. Would be better if they are fresh

Mediocre food and not kid friendly!
We've always loved going to this restaurant as we used to live nearby. The owners were always kind and lovely people. On this Sunday, they weren't there and the front desk was led by 2 new waitresses.
We got schooled by the lead waitress that our children (1 year old and 2.5 year old) had made a mess at the table.

Well, it took them 45 minutes to serve us a bowl of pasta for our kids. The food, especially the pizza was sub-par and we didn't say a word. There were 2 occupied tables and they prioritzed the take-aways to the dine-ins

We apologized for the mess our kids had made and she started schooling is on how she had kids and her kids would never make a mess like this! They are one and 2 for heaven's sake ( and I was here all proud that they were eating independently!)

Never again to this restaurant.. not even if it was the last Italian restaurant in Geneva.

BTW, I NEVER write bad reviews. This is my first one.
