Very helpfull staff. I used the computers, I needed an email printing out.
Didn't have a clue how to do this, but a lovely lady there gave me a valuable lesson and in the future hopefully I will be able to do it myself. 😊 great experience 👍

Lovely visit with my grandchildren, lots for them to do, Halloween trail, and a spot the exhibit, game's, and the schoolroom. Spent a great couple of hours. Loads of parking too!
This was a very interesting small museum to visit. We got a great insight into the history of ICI in Cheshire.
A very interesting place to visit, not far from Central Northwich, which provides an informative display of the history of Northwich. Housed in a former Workhouse, you can learn about the hard lives of the former inhabitants, as well as other facts about the town, including its' Salt Mining industry. Apparently, you can get 10% off entry upon presenting a receipt from a recent visit to The Lion Salt Works - in the northern part of Northwich (August 2023).
Nice museum with lots of local history exhibits and all located in the old Workhouse. Cheap entry and very nice staff working there too. Also has a small cafe on site as well.
Good to find part of an original workhouse in use as a museum and library, with Workhouse room sets too.
Helpful timeline and a great model illustrating the gradual development of the institution. Helpful staff too.

Very helpful, friendly, staff. Great visit when done in conjunction with the salt works. A trip to one entitles a discount to the other.
