If you think this is some great place to visit, forget it ; it is nothing like those beaches in the movies. Just come park your vehicle, pay 30 Rs stand and see the sea and leave . Few cars and a tempo traveller came paid money for parking, went back after spending a few minutes.

Went to this particular stretch on the Cherai beach. It's one of the best, least crowded and cleanest beaches I have been too! Very private, not commercial- we had to take the vypin ferry from fort kochi while visiting. Serene and has rhe perfect sunset. The way to beach was also so so stunning - water all around!
Good ambience. Not so crowded
Good beach to enjoy during weekdays not on weekends as it is crowded during weekends... The view is calm and relaxing...
Very busy at sundays.
Can be reached the destination by turning left from the main beach(Cherai beach).

Ambedkar beach is apart of cherai beach where a statue of Ambedkar could be seen along with the statue of Ayyankali. The beach is very long and the sea is shallow. You can enjoy the beach to the full extend. Sunset and a sea bath will refresh you.
Peaceful calm place for relaxing at early morning... Nice place to go for a beachside walk or jog... And a wonderful place to go for evening walk with family, friends, etc... chill spot 😍
