This place was clean well kept. The planetarium is a nice combo with the museum. A must do on a rainy day. $10 fee per person kids 2 years old and under i believe are free but i would double check that before going. Reasonable price for what they offer. 3 planetarium shows (i believe 20 min each) and the museum.

Great spot to check out if you're looking for something to do near the college. Follow the signs for parking, overall a great experience 😎

Small museum with great displays. There's items you can touch that relate to the displays you're seeing. They may have fur or antlers for a particular animal. There's also a planetarium there. There's food nearby if you want to leave and comeback.

An amazing collection of animals from around the world. It's extremely small even with reading all the placards it only takes 30-45min to see everything. We stretched our stay to catch the next planetarium show which was a cute explanation of our galaxy great for elementary kids.
My 5 year old was scared of all the animals took him awhile to warm up to actually looking at them. We found a small corner with toys and books he enjoyed but the planetarium was the Star of the show for him.
I will say if you are looking for a quick activity not terribly expensive It's an great family activity.

This museum is beautiful. They have a lot of displays and things to look at! Some of their taxidermy work isn't the best, but for the most part it's very good! They also included a small example of how they do their taxidermy work! Theres also quite a lot of items you can touch, such as hides, horns, antlers, and fur. The admission is also fairly cheap. My only disclaimer is that it's a bit small. Otherwise it's a amazing museum! I definitely recommend it!

Schiller Museum and McMunn Planetarium is small but entertaining!! The taxidermy scenes are fun to examine and educational! The Planetarium shows a range of space/sky shows that are great for all ages. We spent an entire rainy day here! It was perfect!

The museum part of this was really nice and really well-kept. I wish they had labels for their insects, as they're numbered but the numbers don't correspond to anything. We also liked pretending to wrap a deer head, that was pretty fun. The planetarium was a bit childish and cringey, as the dialogue was kinda weird. The one star went from saying "I'm dying" to "you're so average". It was basically a child's cartoon. They told the main star the entire time that he was average and ordinary which got tiring real fast.
