The Rose Fitzroy

We had lunch today at The Rose, it was a beautiful experience. The owner was very personable the service was fantastic. We all enjoyed our meals and very reasonable prices. The lunch menu was $20 for all dishes. I had a rump steak and salad it was cooked to perfection rare to medium,
the other parties had beer battered fish chips and salad. Would recommend to everyone to go and have lunch. We will certainly go back next time we are back in town.

The atmosphere here is fantastic, with an excellent selection of beers on tap. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the food is truly fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

Her for the footy. 'three weeks ago' It really did live up to the way they have made it into a sports bar. great T.Vs to watch the game excellent seating alround. Great vibe. Another pub I have been frequented for 20 years. Do miss the old grungy pub though. The ladies from 'Cheetah' you to run the front bar. You will have to look at Countdown circa 1978???
Cannot comment on the food

Definitely nothing to rave home about for with food as it seemed to be supermarket bought for bread in the burger. Wasn’t even good. Service not bad but wasn’t like a proper restaurant service coming up to you and ask what you want. I didn’t even know there were table numbers until one of staff members told me. Maybe you need it to be more accessible?

We spent a week in Fitzroy and went to this pub four times and it never disappointed. The staff were engaging, bright and welcoming. The food was high quality and hot. The service was excellent and the beer was bountiful and best. The staff stood out and they made such a great environment. Thanks to all.

It's been a while, old friend, but you never disappoint. Brilliant neighbourhood pub with good food, great crafts, retro footy memorabilia, and even a meat tray raffle! 😋🍻🍄🥩

A great local pub, with an excellent range of beers. The Moon Dog - Mac Daddy dark ale is worth the visit. Not to mention the food. Nachos with Chilli Con Carne was excellent, and my friends Texan style slow smoked Brisket was five out of five.
Definitely worth a visit!
