It’s said to be the best scones in Edinburgh and it’s worthy of the name.
Fruit scone with clotted cream and jam is a must-try. The flat white is good too.

There are fewer than 10 seats inside. So be prepared to wait when you are planing to dine-in in a rainy day.

Great experience, high recommended. A café where you feel that it is something special, extremely beautiful and more interesting than any other. It's actually quite ordinary, tiny and quite dark because it's below pavement level. But if you sit there, order coffee and scones with butter, watch the hustle and bustle of the street through the window and enjoy the atmosphere, you'll be very happy. I promise you that.

Lovely little cafe! Arrived right when they opened and had a nice latte and croissant. Nice seating inside, a little set back from the street.

Stumbled upon this gem wandering around Edinburgh. I ordered a fruit scone and a cappuccino. Scone was one of my favorites I have had in Scotland and the folks here are awesomely quick. The place is small but they have plenty of outdoor seating!

Its a tiny but really lovely coffee shop. I think its a great place to read your book but not to do work. Signal was really bad down in the basement. I ordered chai latte and taste was ordinary. Would be back for their coffee!

One of the Smallest and busiest cafe in Edinburgh.
I had my cappuccino from this Wellington cafe. Enjoyed the portion size, their scones pastries and cakes were tempting me but I couldn't get this time, I am sure I will visit this place once again.
This tiny place is far too busy, but I have not seen any queue in there. The person making coffee was a human robot.
I have noticed free tap water and glass to help by ourselves which is unusual in Edinburgh.
They have place to sit in and sit outside or they offer to takeaway.
I thought of asking them the story behind the name, I will ask when I go next time.
Enjoyed their Coffee, service and the ambience.
