Definitely was not a fan of this place. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food. Other customers who came in after us were provided their food first and they ordered the same meal as us. This happened a few times.

The dessert was so small as was basically nearly the same price as some of the breakfast options and it did not taste as fresh as they said it would be.

The location is lovely so that is basically why I gave it 2 stars.

I would not recommend this place as I felt like I did not belong and just a waste of space.

I order the smash avo and jammy eggs. The avo didn’t taste fresh which made the meal blend as it didn’t have taste.
One would think for the price charged the food would be of high quality but unfortunately it was not.
The service was horrible it took an hour for us to get our food while people that came before us were being served before us. You would think the food would taste good because it took that long but unfortunately it didn’t.
We tried the lemon cheese cake after and it kept getting worse because it didn’t taste fresh tasted like it was yesterday’s cake and the slice was quite tinny for the price charged.
It’s just another over charged restaurant where you don’t go for good food but rather for cute pictures.

La belle is our family go to, their lunch and dinner offering is better than their breakfast, in summer we sit in the large pretty outdoor section and there's a cozy indoors with a large fireplace for winter, their food is quality, (I usually choose the fish and sweet potato fries) and we've only ever had excellent service. Their pastry chef also deserves a mention.

Great vibes overall with a lovely experience, good food, good music, and really lovely staff, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and dining experience and highly recommend it to others.

Simly rediculous prices compared to service. R40 for the smallest coke zero available in South Africa.. Really??? R225 for a tough sirloin steak that is cold with 3 onion rings as the side... ag this is a joke. Obviously you must pay for the beatiful location, which is adds no value at night... waitron service leaves much to be desired.

Simply just no value for money.. is foodcost really that tough that the restaurant can't add any form of a side dish and perhaps just keep stock of normal size soft drinks.

An almost five star review. My son and I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was juicy and succulent with a lovely light crispy batter. My daughter loved her pastrami sandwich, the best she has tasted with sourkraut. The lamb chops were divine albeit needed some vegetables with the mash. I suppose extreme carnavours do mind. But the only vegetarian option was not available, sadly. This was a bummer as the vege burger was meadocre, dry, boring and dull. Most restaurants don't really cater vegetarian option which is strange. A salad is not an option, it's not a meal. Leaving our only vegan very unhappy. The venue is beautiful, it's a garden setting as expected in Constantia. It's a Southern Suburbs flavour, each replicating an alternate version of another. Thank goodness for the outdoor heaters, warming up a rather chilly day as we sat outside. The waitress staff were very accommodating and pleasant. They should notify the patrons if a delay in serving the food is happening. We should not ask where the one serving is. Only to be told the waitress dropped the burger and a few minutes is needed. Other than that it's a pleasant venue best enjoyed in more pleasant weather conditions.

Mouth watering burgers, scrumptious cake and unusual drinks. The atmosphere outside under the trees is tranquil but festive. The waitress made quite a few blunders but she had a great attitude.
