We had a lane of 4 people and a lane of 5 people, with a 3:30 booking for one game each.
They said we had until 4:20 to finish which we thought was strange to give a finish time but we bowled pretty quickly and the 4-lane group finished in time. The 5-lane group was on their 10th frame when 4:20 ticked over and the lane instantly shut down and ended the game before it was finished. And there were several empty lanes around us.
So we were given a hard time limit of 50 minutes, for a 5 lane team with 10 frames that's 60 seconds for everyone to bowl both their shots every time or you'll get cut off?
Really poor business practice. You pay for a game, not a time period.

It's a shame to give this place 3 stars but our experience was unfortunately cut short.
The layout was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed the decor and the fact it was set in train station. Bravo on that front as we loved immersing ourselves!
That being said, we had a booking to play 1 game and as we got to the 4th-5th round, the staff member came up to us and said we had 20minutes left. Sure enough 20minutes went by and a message popped up saying our game had ended. We had maybe 2 rounds left and there were 3-4 free bowling lanes available next to us. Before we had time to figure out what happened, the next customer came into our area (who wasn't with a staff member mind you) and started setting up for their game. We also couldn't understand why the staff member couldn't give us more time or see that we were nearly finished as at that point we were on the 9th-10th round. It was a confusing process and meant our experience was cut short which was disappointing.
It was our yearly Christmas catch up with our friendship group and it wasn't the best way to spend it considering it was a close game and we couldn't determine the winner.
Wish I could have given this more stars but my experience wasn't the best here nor was our groups. Sorry Strike.
