Went for weekday lunch buffet. Food is really tasty. Worth for money. They provide good customer service. Little bit crowded.
The experience and the food was very satisfying. Went with the family and the service was really good as well. The price is very reasonable as well, Sunday dinner buffet is well worth the price. I recommend the tide’s restaurant to anyone who is looking for a nice buffet to go with their family. 5 star rating from me.

Checked out their Sunday lunch buffet and weekday executive lunch buffet. For the price, its a really good deal, however, unfortunately, their service is not upto a star class hotel standard. The waiting staff was ok, but when I made a reservation in advance for 11 pax, they were more focused on getting the total payment while the standard on the day we booked was extremely subpar. For one thing, when making the booking, I specifically mentioned a particular location of the restaurant, but neither was that area reserved, and to make matters worse, the party of 11 were located in two different tables, without providing us one long table.
Because they are cheap, they tend to be crowded and possibly why they are not too keen on providing a proper star-class service, but this subpar service is one reason, I'll think twice before going back. At least at the time after receiving the payment and when I rechecked, if they said they couldn't accommodate our requests, I'd understand, but unfortunately they lack the basic training on how to communicate customer requests.

Wonderful place with nice ocean view . Great a la carte options .The food was very tasty , we had greek salad ( fresh ingredients ) Arabic mezze as appetizers and for mains grilled lamb chops and seafood platter. We enjoyed Pinot Grigio wine . Service wise Ramesh looked after us he was very attentive and professional. Overall great experience would definitely recommend
Went for a weekend lunch buffet priced LKR 4500 per adult which opens at 12.30pm and goes on until 03.30pm. Tides is located on the 2nd floor at Marino Beach Hotel. They have both indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the rhythmic ocean.The staff was very helpful and welcoming.
The buffet spread was satisfactory but they definitely can improve in the variations as they lacked in the main dishes. The food was delicious and fresh. There was a live kitchen which serves pasta of your choice on request.
My favorite was the desserts and the Salads.
Overall I had a pleasant experience.

They currently have a lunch buffet special at just 3400 lkr net per person, which is an incredible value. The lunch buffet offers a wide variety of options, including a pizza corner, 1 live station, and a selection of 5 meat items, including chicken, beef, fish, pork, and seafood. I highly recommend trying out their lunch buffet – it's a fantastic deal for the quality and variety of food you get.
