Ball Grove Park

Beautiful spot to take a stroll. Dogs can walk off lead here which is a bonus.
Lovely cafe for a light refreshment

Walk was good and great to see all the folk had a dog(s). Sadly on a hot day the cafe did not sell dog ice cream for our 2 little girls. The toilets were closed too.

Ive driven past the entrance to this park hundreds of times but never gone down the hill to the lake and cafe.
I went with a friend who goes regularly and to be honest,what a pleasant surprise.
There is plenty of free parking on two levels and and on the lower level there is a cafe with outdoor seating as well as indoor seating.
A very tidy place with very friendly staff and the menu prices are very reasonable.
The park itself is beautiful and a good place to find some peace and quiet.
Even though the road above was not visible,I was amazed that I couldn't hear the noise of any of the traffic.
Will I go again? Yes I will and the bonus is,it's not to far to go to it from home.

We had a great day out looking at all the wildlife and greenery around and also a great walk around the forest areas and streams, lakes and waterfalls..

Nice and relaxing/peaceful. Popular with dog walkers and good play area for kids. The lakeside cafe has a good selection of cakes/food with very friendly staff

Lovely lake and parkland, plenty of parking, but the toilets were locked. To encourage more people to go, the area really needs toilets which are open during daylight hours and clean.
