Had two wonderful tea ceremonies one with Angel and the other with her and her husband for my friends birthday. They were excellent hosts. Learned so much about tea history and how to properly enjoy high quality tea. We all had such a fun and relaxing time would definitely go again!
I have also purchased dried flowers from the store. I brought in a vase and Angel helped hand pick and arrange flowers for me it was so beautiful. Cannot recommend this store enough!

Angel is so kind and talented, Chrysanthemum is by far my favorite place to get flowers! Angel helped me with a bouquet about two years ago and I’ve been coming to see her ever since. The shop is great for bouquets, dried flowers, arrangements and tea! Angel did my wedding bouquet and boutonnière! She is so easy to work with, a great communicator, gives very clear directions and delivers! Thank you so much Angel!!!
I don't write many reviews on here, but Angel and Shifu Ken are shining lights who took such kind and generous care of me when I visited them in Brooklyn twice a year part. Two friends and I had a truly magical experience at Shifu Ken's tea ceremony and I've since brought family of mine to share a tea ceremony and meet Angel and Ken. It became very clear to me and my friends that we had met our spiritual grandparents!! I've given Angel's gorgeous and creative flower arrangements as gifts to dear ones and my friends also went to Shifu Ken for a palm reading too. I couldn't recommend them more as kind and generous souls, and you should also definitely give them your business :)
Angel is THE BEST! She puts together art like it’s nothing and is the most fun to be around. Stop here for an experience unlike any other. Perfect for yourself, getting a unique gift for someone, housewarming, etc.
Absolutely darling shop and people. Angel greeted us so warmly and encouraged us to wander around the charming shop full of flowers and tea while we waited for Ken Lo. The tea ceremony itself was a blessing as he guided us through increasingly oxidated teas from green to red. I left with a deep appreciation for tea and the act of slowing down and noticing. A wonderful time, definitely call ahead to enjoy this ceremony. (:
Chrysanthemum is by far the best flower shop in NYC for the following reasons:
1. The flowers are extremely fresh. One bouquet I bought there stayed in great condition for over one month which is unheard of.
2. The arrangements and flower selection are the most creative and beautiful I’ve ever seen. Please see the attached for a bouquet I bought there for my wife on our anniversary. The color, shape, and collage-like nature of these pieces are absolutely incredible. They are works of art. It’s a testament of not only the experience of the owners but also their passion.
3. They will provide a custom, curated, and convenient experience for you. You can even bring your own vase, give them ideas about what you’re looking for and they will personally deliver it back to you with a gorgeous arrangement.
4. The owners genuinely care about their customers and developing lasting friendships with them.
5. The store space is so inviting. I truly look forward to each visit there since it feels like I’m stepping into a relative’s home.

Angel is the best! My kids live in Brooklyn. She always makes a wonderful arrangement for them when I want to send them flowers. She really gives a lot of thought to what she does! I highly recommend her!

I attended a Chinese Tea Ceremony two weeks ago. It was like nothing I ever experienced. Angel is an incredible florist and Ken the TEA MASTER. They are warm and welcoming kind souls. I tasted what seemed like sunshine in a cup. Notes still bouncing on my tongue. There is beauty in knowing I might never have this one of a kind delicacy again. Ken shared his poems and his art with us. His knowledge of tea blew me away. Patron this establishment, book a tea ceremony you won’t regret it!
