It was one of the best schnitzels I've ever eaten. Staff were great. Everything is very beautiful. You must make your reservation 3-4 days in advance

Best restaurant in Heidelberg! Their specialities are Schnitzels and Wine, which is an interesting combination for sure. Of course, west southern Germany is known for its great wine, which is reflected by the delicious wine this restaurant serves. All the food was also delicious, can highly recommend trying their cordon blue and French onion soup! The interior of the place is very cute and traditional and the staff are very friendly and helpful, its to be noted that the restaurant is small but almost all tables are shared, so there is almost always room to add more people. If you are in Heidelberg I can assure you this is the first place you should visit food wise!

I’m so happy to come across this restaurant. Coming in from the cold rain, the atmosphere was warm and quaint, with a charm that could be placed anywhere back in time. The staff was very genuine and friendly. The food was delicious and served quickly.

Just a note, be prepared to share tables which is part of the fun.

Best Schnitzel ever! Would recommend a reservation as this is a very popular place. The food was outstanding and the service was super friendly (although a tad slow - so leave lots of time to eat!) Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting this cute little city!

Schnitzel was very good at this casual legendary Heidelberg restaurant. Local college students mix with older locals and some tourists for reserved seating. This is schnitzel in its purest form, light and crispy. The bratwurst was also good. My favorite was with the mushroom gravy, wow. Easy to share as servings are generous. Service was good. Enjoy!

We loved the place. We had schnitzel one with pepper sauce and spatzle and another other with cream of fresh mushroom and fried potatoes. These dishes came with a perfectly made salad which we really liked. The price was reasonable considering the quality and quantity. For us each dish was around 18 euros. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great! The service was also quick and the staff was very friendly and nice! I will highly recommend.
