This is a fun photo opportunity, and there sometimes can be a line to take a photo with the statue. Absolutely free, and make sure you run up the steps to recreate the same scene that Sylvester Stallone did years ago.

This is a famous statue of Rocky that has been moved around during the years. Now it sits at the base of the stairs to the Philadelphia Art institute that Rocky famously runs in the movies. The statue is larger than life sized, and free to visit. There was a line to get pictures. We wanted to hop back on the tour bus, so we didn’t wait for a picture, but still got to see the statue.

A must...especially for movie/Rocky fans.

There was a line for taking pictures by the statues but it moved fairly quick as most people took a few quick photos and kept it moving...

Just had to do it. Corny but fun. Picture with Rocky statue and then go up the steps like he did in the movie. Self appointed guy at statue would take the pictures with your camera or phone - tips welcome but not mandatory. Worth the time - young or old...

There was a long line forming at the statue. But if you come here already, you mind as well get a photo with him. It’s quite incredible that people here take him as a real life historical figure. I overheard so many kids asked their parents of who this guy is. Cheers to the movie that created cult following for Philly.

I really loved this one, and this Statue Of Rocky is right next too , the Philadelphia Muesum of Art, which you should definitely check out but to get to the point I absolutely love Rocky Balboa even My Dad those like a lot so being able to get a picture in Front of the Rocky Statue and recreate the Famous Scene of Rockys Famous Run up The 72 step stairs which I recreated two times and it felt so good just like how Rocky felt if you are Visting Philadelphia like I having been doing you have too go over there and recreate The Famous Run from Rocky and get a picture in front of Rocky as well . It will be awesome
