Country Style Chicken And Waffles

This place is so blasted good!!! Everything is always beyond my expectations! Seriously!! And the amount of patience they have when the store is packed with people. I just wish people were as patient as the staff 😒 you want Fast food go up to Checkers! This good food takes time!!!

One of my BFFs and our Husband's had Breakfast at this Restaurant before hitting the road to "Skyline Drive" last week. She had eaten here before and suggested we give it a try. Service was OK. Food was OK. I probably would visit again if I was in the area. Check it out for yourself 🙂

This place use to be good for breakfast but not anymore. I ordered home fries with onions and peppers. They cooked their home fries way too much and didn't cook the veggies at all. I asked for salt and pepper on my eggs and they tasted like nothing. My bacon looked like it died twice and taste like salt and was chewy like rubber.

Stopped here to grab a quick bite after reading the positive reviews, and it was a solid experience. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese waffle slider and a chicken waffle slider. Both were hot, fresh and delicious. The waffle was perfectly fluffy and the chicken had just the right amount of crunch. One downside was the unpleasant service from the staff. The food quality made up for the poor service though, so if I am ever in the area again and craving breakfast food, I would return.

Finally had an opportunity to stop in to see what was cooking! My first time and definitely NOT my last time!! I ordered the 5 piece chicken & waffle. Service was great & accommodating (as I’ve observed how the crew meet the needs & changes of customer’s ahead of me). The smell of the food made you anxious for your order, which didn’t take long at all.. approx. 15 minutes in & out. 👍 My entire order was delicious.. good thing I am off work today because I’m full and sleepy now.. Crack’n Up! Great service Country Style.. hopefully other’s will enjoy the food & experience as I have.

UPDATE:
I spent 4.50 on a slice of DISGUSTING strawberry cake today. I know better (refrigerated breads) but took a gamble because I inquired about its freshness and the server said it was made on Wednesday (2 days ago). I can’t eat it because it tastes like a sweetened “Brillo Pad”.
Lessons…it’s just crazy how a business can think it’s ok to sell badly prepared, old or unfresh food.

It's a decent spot probably better than most carryouts nearby. The menu is ok price wise and the food is decent. They have great hours for those who work late or need a bite in the early morning after midnight.

Country Style Chicken and Waffle was an overall great experience. The food was amazing and everything was freshly prepared. They serve more than chicken and waffles, so don't let the name discourage you. They have a a variety of seafood platters, sides, etc. The down side is that they are pretty busy during peak times and there is limited seating. Additionally, you have to wait and listen (Did I say listen) for your name to be called. Overall, I think it's worth the wait :)!!
