Shake Shack Navy Yard

Burger patties were horrible. The meat was full of cartilage or collagen fiber like textures. Couldn’t even finish my burger because of that. Cheese fries were okay. Definitely not worth the price.

Love the food here. Very similar fare to Culver's from Midwest. They mixed up our order on several things- missed a burger and drink that we had ordered. They quickly remedied both. Otherwise, a good experience

I never heard this place before, so i wanted to try it. There is no meal so you have to buy everything as its own thing. You order on a screen to the left of the counter and just wait until they call your number. The employee that served my food was really nice.

The burgers were good, not greasy like most burgers are, but they are also smaller than most bergers are. You're paying the same price for regular sized burgers, but its alot smaller than its worth.

The place was almost empty, but we still had to wait over 15 minutes for our order. The chicken was good, but the buns were cold. They were literally out of the fridge, not even room temperature. The glasses of our lemonade were filled with ice to the top, and there is no option on the terminal to say we want little ice. To be honest, I would never pay $5 for ice. Oh, and now they also want a tip on the top of a $40 order at a fast food place. You order through a terminal, then pick up your food yourself, and then clean up after yourself, and you are expected to pay a tip! Well, I guess I know why we got cold buns and so much ice, we changed a suggested tip to a "no tip" option. Next thing we know, we will be expected to tip cashiers at the grocery store.

Burgers are Awesome!!!!!!! Juicy hot and flavorful. The milkshakes are good also. The fries leave much to be desired and are not a must have. The customer service is iffy depending on when you go.

They've apparently switched to tablet only ordering, but there's no signage nor did the employees direct us to order at the kiosk in the corner. Multiple of us were standing in line to order when a group came in, walked past us, and proceeded to order at the kiosks in the corner. They also didn't bring the food out to you, the employees just stood there yelling your name. Food was good, but the fries could have been hotter and crispier.

For dine in Burger and fries was very fresh. Fries were crispy and the burger flavorful and not overly sauced. Solid place for a quick burger in navy yard

However for takeout on 3/30 I ordered at the counter and waited 20 min until I asked the cashier and my order had been sitting there for 15 minutes. They didn’t call my name, I had been standing there the entire time. Unacceptable

My first time ever to a shake shack. I live around several in the NYC area but never had been. The food was great. Clearly the hamburgers are cooked fresh to order and I’m thinking with fresh and not frozen beef. The crinkle fries were good as well. While I thought the milk shake was very small for the money, they were delicious. I will begin eating at shake shack now.
