My husband, Edwin, and I stayed here this last Sunday and Monday. The hotel is amazing. We had breakfast Monday morning in their restaurant. Jeffrey and Kim did a wonderful job. I was able to try two new foods thanks to Jeffrey's knowledge and patience. The location is perfect. After breakfast, we walked down the street and up the mountain for a magnificent view of Pheonix. Staying here gave me a magical experience that I will never forget.

Resort itself is beautiful and feels very grand.

Rooms feel outdated and the noise is problematic. It's 6am I can hear people talking, every single footstep above our room, and the water upstairs running.

We got a king room and the only thing that makes it any different from a any other hotel room is the deep bath which I loved. The bath products are also really nice and the room comes with a Keurig.

Some nitpicks I have are the pillows are low quality, they flattened pretty quickly and gave me a headache the first night. The toilet paper is also .5 ply or whatever you get in public restrooms. You get robes but no slippers. These to me give off a very low end feeling and considering these rooms are almost $400 before resort fee/parking fees, make me regret booking here for more than 2 nights.

I got a chance to stay here for one night before heading out to Sedona. I love how they make the hotel feel like home and welcoming for the guests.
I felt like I was invited to someone’s home.
My room was huge enough to spend one night that has a really nice deep bathtub.
The friendly staff who made me want to come back to stay again. What I liked about is that in-room service can be made by text messages. I tried and it worked, they responded and brought food to the room quickly.

Everything looked good except some areas in the room needed to be maintained. One of the faucets in the bathroom came loose. One of the room phones might have been broken that made low-frequency noise time to time that I couldn’t figure out where it came from until next morning. I wish I could have figured out before bed…
The ceiling seemed to be thin but I also understand that this is a historic hotel.

I’d love to come back and stay again.

Stayed here this past weekend as a quick local "getaway." Everything about the stay was fantastic. From the moment you drive in the cobblestone-type driveway, you're greeted by friendly the valet and shown to a comfortable and warm check in. Ava checked us in and made a great first impression. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our room was great and overall the grounds are impeccably maintained and gorgeous!
We enjoyed drinks at Mix-Up and later enjoyed the stunning pool.
Nathan outside took great care of us. Iman brought us room service and was warm, friendly, and very courteous. His service capped off a great first day. The following day we had brunch at their onsite restaurant, T.Cooks which was also fantastic. Sadly, it came time to leave. One of the assistant directors, Ana, helped get us checked out and we appreciated her thoroughness in quickly reviewing our folio and confirming everything was in order. She also asked about our experience and how the rest of her staff took care of us, and we gave nothing but honest and outstanding feedback.
Definitely come enjoy this wonderful property -- a perfect combination of relaxed luxury with service to match.

My wife and I have wanted to stay here for our anniversary for a few years now and finally did this year.

I’m not going to lie, I had higher expectations for this property being a 5 star resort and for the cost (money/points) per night. It’s a beautiful property don’t get me wrong. But not much on site to do. The pool is small and when there’s a good amount of people there it can get crowded. The spa is beautiful inside, the men’s section is quite small but it gets the job done. Went to use the steam room and when I entered no steam was going, not an issue, turn it on and the water smelt like it had been sitting in a rotting pipe for days. My wife did say the women’s was great and smelt like eucalyptus.

The room was clean and spacious, I work in the flooring industry so it did make me laugh to find a spacer still in the grout line in our bathroom 😂🤷🏼‍♂️
It was strange that a lot of items were left out and doors unlocked on the property. We went looking for ice and an electrical room was unlocked across from our room, a construction garbage can with rusted metal and other items was left in the hallway for over a day. Exit door facing the street was open for hours, pool mech door was always open with the lock dangling on the outside. Food plates and cups were left in a corner in the hall for awhile. Originally we thought housekeeping was going to collect them because it was by a cart but the housekeeping cart was left unattended for a few hours and then when it was collected the cups and plates remained on the floor. When my wife alerted the front desk to it the gentleman seemed more annoyed than anything.

I worked for Hyatt for a time and fell in love with their properties. While I’m no fancy hotel critic I do believe in you get what you pay for and honestly I wouldn’t stay here for the price again.

We would like to thank the Royal Palms and Resort and Spa, for their amazing service and support during our wedding in July. It was a joy to work with staff like Sarah and Kailey. We had several obstacles that almost derailed our event but the staff at the Royal Palms Resort helped us with resources and solutions. Our five year dream to be married on the property was a dream come true. Thank you to our attendant Susan for being so observant of all our needs. The Royal Palms Resort makes the wedding process easy and enjoyable. Every time we met with Sarah we always felt at peace with our decisions. We highly recommend the Royal Palms Resort for all your elegant events. 10 out of 10

Ceremony and cocktail hour area is so gorgeous, one of the most beautiful wedding venues I’ve seen here in Phoenix and I’ve seen a lot!! I literally just want to come here and explore it’s so beautiful. Have your wedding here! You will not regret it!
