Great course for being in a city park. Better than anything in royal oak.

The City of Detroit needed a disc golf course and boy did they hit a homer with this one. The original 18 pin course is designed for the heaviest hitters while the new Paul McBeth 9 pin course is a great way to introduce new players to the game. Fantastic.

So amazing! This disc golf course has come such a long way and is pretty much complete. It's been a joy to play at this course!

Started playing disc golf last year (22') in June, and this was my 3rd course. At the time, it was much under construction and still a great time.

Summer 23' it was completed and became one of the most fun courses in the area.

Really enjoy Palmer for its mix of technical shots, distance, and a few blind baskets. Does get a bit wet in the late fall and spring. Winter was a blast to throw here as well!

Best within 20 miles, feels like an up north course right in the heart of northern Detroit. Rare i won't see a deer or two when i'm out here. Challenging for all levels up to MA1 and free. I wouldn't mind paying the city of Detroit for the pleasure of using this property. Directly adjacent to DGC, has hoops and urban farming right next door.

Great course little open and muddy at times but not too far from my place and it’s got a good mix of long and short holes

Well rounded course for both lefties and righties. Most of the long tee pads are in. Shorts expected to be poured in 2023. Course is wet in the Spring, but the designers have added chips, paths, and pallets to help get around. Course is well maintained and mowed regularly. Highly recommend playing the Gem of Detroit! (5-Stars will be given once all the pads are in).
