It is a really interesting place to visit.

Unfortunately for the museum and exhibition I would suggest you to put some signs like where to start and how to continue in an organized way.
We got lost and come to the same places many times.

One of my favourite museums I’ve ever visited; it’s one of the ancient wonders of the world and is truly remarkable. The library is modern built on the same site location as the old one. It’s got lots to see and do as well has several museums located inside. It’s definitely worth visiting and something you wouldn’t want to miss when visiting Alexandria. I would love to go back someday.

A modern building that is being used as a place to study and has some locations that show old artifacts. Not really special if you ask me. Basically a modern library without any remnant to the old one. Although our guide was kind and showed us some things, nothing was noteworthy. And the story itself sounded like an automatic tape recorder

The largest reading hall i the world. Its a silent and powerful place at the same time. If you love history, books and architecture this is the place to start your Time in Alex. With multiple levels and sections on digital media, museum, supercomputing and books. Must visit when in Alexandria. Very lively place and amazing vibe around. Filled with laughter, happiness and knowledge.if your looking for a coffee place around, head to equador coffee which is a straight 500 mtrs from exit yard.

It's a super great breathtaking library, it was a dream come true for me to visit it!
The vibe is mixed, it's mostly a touristy library more than a real place to set and study, the visitors "tourists" voices are laud at the high levels of the library, but it gets quieter and quieter as you go down all the way to the "maps section".
There's quite area that's useful if you want to focus on your work/studying at the "art section".. Away from the touristy area.

Overall, I loved the place, and I'm definitely coming again, it's a must visit destination in Egypt !

The Alexandria Library is an incredible destination that seamlessly blends history and modern knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this renowned library, which also houses captivating museums within its premises. The library's impressive architecture pays tribute to the ancient library that once stood in Alexandria, creating a captivating atmosphere.
