Such a gem! Lewis House is a beautiful, clean, and relaxing b&b with lovely views of White Lake. Debi and Gregg have lovingly restored the beautiful old Victorian (exactly like the pictures!) and they were such warm and friendly hosts, checking in often to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Lake Room and the bed was very comfortable. Very walkable to bike trails, kayaking, and breweries/restaurants. Overall HIGHLY recommend checking out Lewis House!

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and we really enjoyed it. Everything is designed and decorated beautifully. Debi was very friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast one day, but it was fabulous, and Debi was thoughtful enough to ask about dietary restrictions during check in. There were snacks, coffee, water, and soda available, and it was lovely to make a cup of coffee and sit out on the porch or in the backyard overlooking the lake with a good book. The location was perfect, too -- within walking distance of some local establishments, but still quiet. I am a terrible sleeper, so it was great to be able to stay in such a quiet environment. Highly recommend!

A perfect stay. It was everything you would want and expect in a B&B. Beautiful vintage home with updated amenities. The room was great and the bathroom was as nice as any upscale hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. Great location and was an easy walk to town where we found great pubs, nature and a farmers/craft market. I highly recommended if you are in the area.

The Lewis House Bed & Breakfast was a great experience, beautiful home with a lot of history but with modern amenities. Very clean and taken care of. Greg and Debi were great hosts. Breakfast was great as well. Looking to stay in the Whitehall/Montague area? I would recommend staying here.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The house is a 143 year old original. The owners purchased it in 2009, and spent six years lovingly restoring the building literally from the ground up. They did not miss any detail. The restoration is meticulous, and at the same time they modernized the experience for their guests. It’s hard to be excited about bathrooms, until you go into this place. Our bathroom was a work of nostalgic art. You just want to stay there all day. Among the other amenities in the house include a bistro where are you can have coffee, water, and snacks all day. The furnishings in the house are exquisitely period and in exceptional taste. The landscaping outside the house is perfectly suited to the age and style of the house, and is expertly maintained. To put it mildly, the place is gorgeous. Inside and out. And then, our hosts Debi and Greg. It takes a certain personality to run a bed and breakfast, and these folks have it all. Customer satisfaction is top of mind, and they attend to every need and every detail. They were gracious and accommodating dietary restrictions. And, to top it off, we had a great personal experience sharing favorite beverages, and we received a personal saxophone concert by Greg. If you are looking for a great place to spend one night or a few days, this is it. Look no further.

After a day at Silver Lakes sand dunes, we stayed at the BEAUTIFUL Lewis House Bed & Breakfast. The home is wonderfully restored, you want to spend time in each room taking in the history and the decor. We stayed in the Corner Room and it was wonderful. The bathroom is like a spa. Debi & Greg are great hosts, many small thoughtful amenities, fantastic breakfast and easy access in and out of the house. Home is in a great location, walking distance to town, restaurants and the water. We've stayed in many B&B's and this one is right there at the top!
