SAPS Pinetown Station

Calling them and they dont answer. Cant get anyone to answer the phone. One would think a main police station will eventually answer ?

There is some serious cleaning and repairs required at the SAP in Old Main Road, Pinetown.
The charge office is also very slow. Too many police standing around chatting instead of assisting people.

Wow, this is customer service at its absolute worst! I came to get an affidavit, NO ONE is at reception, the one police woman that wandered past me I tried to talk to but was completely ignored. There is no signage, you have no idea where to go or what queue to stand in, quite frankly shocking!

Open the case about two weeks ago. I have all the evidence about a person who robbed me. Detective handling my case has not even contacted me since the case was opened. Even if you call them, they don't answer the telephone.

Lady by the surname Nyathikazi( according to her name badge). Helped me when i can to report an accident. She was so nice and have the warmness nje. She made feel like every was gonna be okay. Im gratefull

There is no help desk and asking random people there will probably piss them off. Sometimes they're rude and people try to jump the queue, only to get dirty looks from all of us at the back. The queue moved fairly quickly though. A quiet buzz while everyone waited to get their stuff done. The constable who attended to me was friendly, explained everything required of me, allowed me to take my time when I needed to and made it a comfortable space for me to get through my request.

Needed to renew a firearm license. Consulted with the firearm office on the 2nd floor (room 213) yesterday, very helpful. Was able to make an appointment for today at 10:00 and now already done. The whole process was very efficient. Also wasn't able to get through on the phone number on Google, I think you just have to go there. Phone 10111 or 112 for emergencies.
