Keramikos is a small residential area centered on ancient Athens’ largest cemetery, now an archaeological site. The Archaeological Museum of Keramikos displays a collection of stone slabs, sculptures and other finds from the excavations, including ceramics made by potters who once lived and worked here, giving the neighborhood its name. At the edge of the site is the imposing, domed Agia Triada church.
