Nice walk and very quiet destination. Area is completely natural trail so remember to take water and suitable gear with you

Awesome place for a day out.i had a wonderful day out there,can swim too❤️i call the lake as a red lake why because the colour of the water is red which is rare,narrow route from the main road ,only 2 cars can park on the road then have to walk from there .only 1 minute to reach the waterfall from the main road

Little gem of a waterfall situated near well walked trails within reasonably mature woodland. Really enjoyable walk. Great to stop a moment and admire. Better enjoyed if you don your wellies!

My most favourite place to walk! Lots of places to enter Roddlesworth woods for different walk experiences and dogs can safely have off lead time. It is a truly beautiful place with water and woods. Thankfully lots of visitors do treat it with respect, take their litter home and clean up after their dog.

The waterfall itself is quite tiny but the sound of running water is always nice to walk by!
Nice trails around the waterfall and can cross and walk up the Great Hill and even across to Winter Hill, so loads of walking opportunities.
The paths are really muddy in places so definitely wear wellies/ walking boots / shoes you're happy to get caked in mud.
I parked in a near-by layby but there are car parks dotted around.
Some paths are more accessible than others.

We had a lovely walk! Wellies were definitely needed and all 3 dogs needed a bath! Very muddy but wonderful waterfall
