Mandi Afandi

One of the best Halal Yemeni cuisine. We tried their Chicken Madhbi and Lamb Zurbian. Rice was flavourful and delicious. Both chicken and lamb was tender and juicy. Portion was very good. They've got a prayer area for Muslim customers. Will be coming back.

Amazing service! Fantastic food! Big portions and very tasty! The meat is so soft and amazingly delicious. Prices are so democratic that full dinner with 3 soups, 3 huge plates with meat, 6 souses, and a huge plate of salat is ONLY 80 dollars.

We got taken out to a restaurant in the same square, so we decided to go back on our own and try something else. It looked like a food chain making arabic food, yet don't let it dissuade you. It was easily the best food I've eaten in a while. If you like meat, you'll love this one. We were the only white people there, which is usually a good sign as far as authenticity goes. Lots of food for a reasonable price. Highly recommend. We got the plates #2 version chicken and the King Fish.

Amazing experience. Do not sleep on the mixed mandhi plate, super filling, flavorful and tender. The highlight of my visit, was definitely the tenderness of all the meat. Rice was also amazing, great flavor and super generous portion! There is also floor seating, and prayer rooms setup 🙏. Do not sleep on this spot!

This place I went to yesterday evening is placed in a plaza drive in with loads of parking and other eating options. Wanted to try Lamb Mandi as it was my birthday. Went with my son and ordered the $24.99 Lamb Mandi plate. First up I would like to say that there are only women/girls at the restaurant for self service ordering. Then food is served in a few minutes. To add about food, the Mandi was good to look at as there were two huge prices of lamb well cooked. The rice was a bit tangy and slightly wet. The food was not hot enough to enjoy. Cannot compare to the authentic Mandi which we get in the Middle East or in Hyderabad, India. I would say it was Okay to try for the first time and the lamb will not disappoint you. The quantity was decent for two people with an average diet. The bathroom was very badly kept and not at all clean.I would suggest pls look into these things as hygiene matters. Also try and have a couple of male servers around during busy times at your place.

The lamb was 7 out of 10. That's because the meat was dry.
The chicken was 9.5 out of 10. It was on point.

My recommendation

For the sit down seating, my advice is to remove that large table in the middle and use just the floor cover (سفره) or a small table. It would help to have enough space and comfortable seating.

Good food and nice experience overall. The mint yogurt drink was the only exception and would definitely not be something we ever order again. The chicken, lamb and rice was really good. We had ordered the family platter and it was more than enough for 4!
