I love the Metro in Dubai. If you stay in JL or JBR it is well worth to use gold class. You are almost guaranteed a seat if any direction. Fast, cheap and convenient.

Usually Busy area. Beautiful cafes & more shops are accessible. JLT side has lakes, and can be sit & chill at night.

I'm in love with the view, the clean, the security guards, everything is nice with the metro.

I've taken metro in many places around the world. Dubai is one of the best systems I've seen. Depending on which line you take it could get crowded but that's part of the experience. If this is a concern, there is the option to upgrade to gold cabin, which is empty most of the time. Give it a try!

It was easy to navigate where you needed to go, signs were clearly displayed. The cabins of the train were clean and air conditioned. The only part of the journey that I was not pleased with was the amount of people that were allowed to enter the cabins. It was overcrowded where everyone was practically squashed together with not enough space to breathe. The more shocking part was were the cabins were completely full and people were still getting on. I guess this is down to individuals but there should be some conductors on cabins or at the station to stop the overcrowding to happen. Other than that the station was in immaculate conditon and design was fab.
