Happy returning customer. Safe regular Uber Eats option for me. Generous when requesting extra ginger sauce too!

I don’t normally write reviews, but the mapo tofu rice was horrible! Not authentic at all, salty, weird taste, so much corinander, crispy onions and uncooked cabbages, the combination was terrible.

Wanted to try the tofu box but was unfortunately sold out, so my partner got the pork & chicken box & I ate the spicy rice & veggies. Was amazing! Fresh & delicious. Next time I hope to try the tofu box too 😊

My complaint is lack of consistency. Sometimes you get a sauce, sometimes very dry. Generally the food tastes good with good mix of chicken, rice and salads. Frustrated that you are not sure what you are getting for £10 a pop!

Just OK which is a shame as they have huge potential.

Portion size is small, lots of rice but a little stingy on the meat. The cucumber tasted a little stale as it had been sitting in the pot for too long. Overall it's just average but around £11.65 for the mixed pork and chicken but £2.95 for a canned drink is just crazy!

Food comes out quick which explains why everything tasted a bit stale

Comfort food in the heart of Canary Wharf! Popular rice outlet and generally quite long queue during lunch hours esp on a sunny day. It service is relatively quick. It would be even better if the rice comes with a cup of hot chicken soup to wash it all down……

TLDR; service was quick but does not make up for the very little value at £8 a pop. The Hainanese chicken rice consisted of more cucumbers than chicken. The flavour was okay, mainly dominated by the sweet soy sauce, but far from the authentic / real thing and the chicken was over cooked. Having said all of this, there are not many alternatives in Canary Wharf. It is definitely better than Mama Lan a few stores down but that’s quite a low bar (check my other review)

The hainanese chicken rice was amazingly tasty. The ginger and chilli sauce really matches well with the dish. I ordered the combo that has the char siew bbq meat. It has the flavour in there though may not be exactly like the one you have in an Asian restaurant. I love the fact the store does not add MSG on their dishes making an amazing dish to eat. Would come back and order again in the future.
