I did not enter this establishment as we (sister and brother) went through to the drive thru window. I can say that the food was excellent and the young man serving us was absolutely beautiful. He was from Jamaica and dreamy to bout. He was professional and served us in quick fashion. I loved it.
Stick with the original or spicy chicken sandwich. They offer it with cheese, pickles and bacon now... but decline that. It makes the amazing classic way too SALTY. Also if they are busy, do not order a frozen drink. They do the drinks immediately and by the time your food is done, the frozen drink is all separated. Shrimp tackle box is tasty and a decent value.
The service was horrible! There were about 5-10 people in line and several already waiting for food when we arrived. They had only one register open to take orders. I waited over 15 minutes to place an order and over 15 more minutes to receive our order. There was plenty of chicken already cooked. It should not take long to place already cooked food into a box. The workers had no sense of urgency. They moved slowly and made no effort to speed up, given the size of the crowd. This experience made us never want to go to any Popeyes again!
Food is 1 star because after 60 minutes of waiting I’m still waiting for food. Piles of chicken sitting there but the guy at til would rather move tickets around. And play with his tongs… service is horrible, no one knows what they are doing, latest update is they are waiting on fillets calling tickets out of order, calling ticket 81 while our ticket 55 is still hanging, all customers hangry now! It’s not even busy just staff that don’t know how to manage food orders. Only for mobile order I’d have walked to McDonald’s or kfc or anything.
There are numerous Popeyes Chicken locations in the area, so I decided to try this location. The service was good, and the chicken dinner met my expectations.
Visited this location on yesterday. I placed a mobile order and it didn’t take them any time. The guy who gave me my food was very polite. The line they had when I went in was gone by the time I fixed my drink and got everything I needed. The drive thru even moves fast. Food was hot fresh and good. Biscuit was a little hard but the honey did the trick.
