Went here on Saturday December 8, 2018, at 9:00 am, for my last data collection session, for Prime Time Sister Circle sponsored by Dr. Gaskins and Dr. Porter.
The room in the church is large enough to accommodate the number of attendees, but the set up was wrong. The entrance to the room was always blocked. People trying to get in or out of the room. This caused a lot of confusion.
There were two classes attending, and I was in the graduating class.
They had coffee, tea, yogurts, apple slices, bran muffins, and water.
The temperature in the church was nice and warm, because it was very cold outside.
I saw several familiar faces that I had not seen in a while.
The process took about 2 hours to complete.
Metro buses A8 and A4 services this area.

Since the first time I visited I've felt a real connection with God and the people since leaving my former church more than 5 years ago. On my 4th visit I felt compelled to become a member. They are committed to social justice, care of the disenfranchised and the surrounding community. It is a come as you are church not a fashion runway.

This is a church doing everything to understand the mind of Christ for its particular context an responding through an all inclusive approach to ministry resulting in a number of persons who have been marginalized and or stigmatized finding a church community in which they are free to live honest and authentic lives.
