Cho Mee Supermarket

The miserable old guy who sits behind the till as never failed to overcharge me on my purchases! The last time I shopped here the the ticket price on my purchases came to £17.30 he charged £24.90!!! This as happened on more than one occasion!! I never use this place anymore, it’s a total rip off!! Beware!! and if you have to go there never pay by credit card!! This place should be called “Cheat me” rather than Cho Mee..

There's everything you need and the owners are really friendly and welcoming, ready to answer all your questions and even give you some extra tips about the things you buy. However, the prices are a bit expensive even compared to what you can see on other shops on the area.

Today I had a bad experience with this shop, one of my friends suggested Chinese noodles to me, and I asked one of the staff members about the product but she behaved very rude and insulted me. I felt very unfair. Moreover, we don't know anything about your stuff so please behave very politely to other countries people

Still one of the best places to find older traditional Chinese foods & brand goods. Don't mind the old staff either that been running the store for over a decade 😬

No clear price and I notice that one item is clearly overcharged more than 1 pound as I buy it often from other shops. Rude services well. Dont go there if you have a choice. Check the recepit if you go.

I am a resident of Mill Road and love the diversity of shops we have on this road. However, I will be boycotting this store due to their extremely rude service and the lack of clear pricing on food items. It is interesting to note that many of the shining reviews here are from Caucasian people and many of the bad reviews are from Chinese people. My personal experience was that the owners can be helpful towards White or Cantonese speaking people, and horrible towards other Chinese people. As a British-born Chinese person, I am familiar with this type of internalised racism in some older generations. I just cannot believe this shop exists on Mill Road. If you do not want to support INTERNALISED RACISM, please boycott this shop! Go to Ocean Supermarket or Seoul Plaza on Mill Road, who both have great customer service.

A huge range of products at great prices! Staff at checkout really nice and helpful too :)
