We enjoyed touring President Woodrow Wilson's boyhood home and garden and learned many interesting and enlightening historical facts about the Recontruction Era.

A fun tour of local history with a focus on the former president and the transition away from slavery. The building is in excellent shape for the long history. When I went it was coincidentally a private tour, which was quite nice.

Hardly anything to do about Woodrow Wilson house. We were expecting to learn more about President Wilson since this was his house. Save your time and money by taking pictures from the outside.

First things first, the website does not state the cost, which as of May 22' is $10/adult, and second, it's barely a museum. I could learn more about Reconstruction and Woodrow Wilson from a children's book, than here. The "tour guide" merely led you to the house and unlocked the door and that's it, it's not even clear they know anything about the house or history for that matter. The house is in good shape, but features no real furniture except a few things on display pedestals. Let me do you a favor, skip this one.

Reconstruction is in progress and that's great! The house and gardens are beautiful even from behind the fence 🙂
28th President Woodrow Wilson's childhood home. Did not go inside, arrived too late. But, it was still nice to see. It is super close to the statehouse.

We didn't know this home was in Columbia SC until today. It was very pretty.
