Ristorante Bilacus

Good local food and service was great, we made reservations weeks in advance and are glad we did! Sat at 7pm and left at 9:30 - they let us stay the whole evening and service was polite and attentive! Only reason to knock anything off is that I was hoping to be able to order the risotto and Perch, but that was not on the menu. The green goat cheese and scallop risotta was delicious, as was the gnocchi with duck ragù. And great wine selection!

Beautiful setting and I was really lucky to get a seat just after opening. My hotel had recommended this place and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal! Such friendly staff who patiently allowed me try my Italian! Lovely wine, really good pasta which tasted so fresh. My only flaw was I wish my dishes had a bit more flavour- there was technically nothing wrong, just needed a bit more seasoning in my opinion. Otherwise can't recommend enough.

The waiters give you a jice welcome and they are very helpful with food and wine selection. We tried the fish of the day and ut was absolutely delicious. Their lovely terrace is a big plus. I would come back anytime.

Good portions and nice terrace. On a busy touristic pedestrian street so not the most relaxing depending on the noise that comes up onto the terrace. Not the restaurant’s fault though.

To begin w they are not cheap! Now does it justify the cost that’s subjective… the atmosphere is definitely more on the high end side. You can even have them to debone the catch of the day for you!
The taste is the reason why I took one star off and that’s just me. If you want a fancy seafood restaurant for a nice night out then try them.

The place is absolutely amazing. Try and get a reservation ahead as it tends to be full. Also, you can ask to be seated in the garden, it's really nice!

The service is very good, the waiters are pleasant and they pay enough attention to you.

We tried the pasta with red sauce and the sirloin steak. The steak is from a local butcher and it was highly recommended to us by our waiter. I asked for it medium rare and they cooked it as required, however it was quite bland. There was little flavour(no salt or pepper) to it so I was quite disappointed! Hence, no pics of it.

The pasta however was delicious. Fresh pasta, homemade, the sauce was good and the prawns were soft and tasted excellent!

Maybe we'll come back.

Excellent Restaurant in the middle of the village of Bellagio. The dishes are outstanding! Traditionally italian cuisine with a modern touch! Fine dining at moderate prices! A MUST VISIT!🇮🇹❤️
